Scarcity is what produces war, therefore I would lean towards more of a "create" aggression through the scarcity.....if you provide people what they need; food, shelter, clothing, they are pretty much content.....crime exists because people do not have.

I just watched a movie, The Purge....it seems to fit right in with what you are saying,....would you be for the Purge or Against....in this movie, people definitely let their inner locust free.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08287036284795756638noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6896740528247955399.post-85514115430160641092013-06-21T17:00:56.107-07:002013-06-21T17:00:56.107-07:00This comment has been removed by the author.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08287036284795756638noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6896740528247955399.post-48338939495491121492013-06-21T13:32:39.007-07:002013-06-21T13:32:39.007-07:00Let me run this by ya, tell me what you think :)
...Let me run this by ya, tell me what you think :)

When Locusts become over crowded they become aggressive, stronger and form huge nomadic swarms. One of these swarms is recorded to have been 198,000 square miles; the size of CALIFORNIA. They destroyed crops and really caused a drastic change to the environment they affected. It took many years for those areas to "bounce back". Do humans possess the same gene as locust? Are we hard wired to destroy? Your points really got me thinking about this.

One only has to look at the mass increase in consumption, higher crime rates and using of mass resources and, parallels can be drawn. My question to you is this a bad thing? Perhaps it is all part of Mother Natures plan and we just don't see the big picture.

I like this line in your blog "Technology is the methodology to harness any type of resources we have. Technology is the growing intellectual field that allows us to know how to manipulate our environment for our betterment and to be more sustainable, hopefully." Great minds are working together and it is my hope they will created a more sustainable environment.

Not a lot of people realize just how much of a big deal 3D printing is! Scientist and engineers are already working on a way for these printers to produce food (http://phys.org/news199080001.html) Within 10 years cars will be "printed". There is a company, Shapeways check out their videos on youtube; mind blowing. It is the next industrial revolution, but I have to wonder will it be our demise? Can technology save us from our inner locust? I think the answer is yes.

Corabellehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11828433402877532622noreply@blogger.com
