Earth Hour 2011

I’m just one person, what can I do about this?

Through the symbolic act of switching off our lights for one hour [or longer] on Saturday 26 March from 8.30 - 9.30pm [local time] we will collectively send our clarion call for change around the globe, with a message that we want cleaner energy…NOW.

You don’t need to be an expert…you just need to be you and do your part.

Hundreds of millions of people in thousands of cities and towns in every continent will speak out with one voice.
‘If there was one hour that mattered and one name that counted, it would be yours”Archbishop Tutu
Lights will go out around the world on Saturday from Hayward California, to Beijing’s Forbidden City to a tiny village in the Arctic where they usually keep street lights blazing to ward off polar bears.

Take this opportunity to join me and the people from all corners of the globe so that we can send a most powerful message on climate change. The united message we will be sending  is,
"Enough is Enough... We must stop the destruction of our planet!"

Before he departed he said to his apprentice, Stephanie South:
“Red Queen”, “I have done all that I could on this planet. I am being called to assist in the closing of the cycle from the Other Side.”
One of Jose's final wishes was that the Foundation of the Law of Time be continiued.

The Foundation for the Law of Time, absolutely & unequivocally dedicated to continuing his life vision and work on behalf of seven times seven generations to come, on behalf of the coming noosphere and beyond.

World Water Day 2011

International World Water Day is held annually on 22 March as a means of focusing attention on the importance of freshwater and advocating for the sustainable management of freshwater resources.

An international day to celebrate freshwater was recommended at the 1992 United Nations Conference on Environment and Development (UNCED).

The United Nations General Assembly responded by designating 22 March 1993 as the first World Water Day.

Why is Urbanization A Challenge?

Today, one in two people on the planet live in a city. The world’s cities are growing at an exceptional rate and urbanisation is a continuum.

The main reason they are growing is because of natural increase in urban population, but also due to rural-to-urban migration and reclassification of rural areas to urban areas.

Supermoon 2011

Hey folks, listen up….

…we are about to be witness to the biggest full moon experienced in almost two decades.

This coming Saturday, the 19th, the Earth’s natural satellite –the Moon, will reach its closest point to Earth and will appear unusually large in the night sky as it reaches a point in its cycle known as 'lunar perigee'.

All us stargazers will get a early spring treat as we are privy to a spectacular view of the moon as it approaches Earth at a distance of 221,567 miles in its elliptical orbit.

The full moon will appear to be up to 14% bigger and about 30% brighter when it arises on the eastern horizon.

This phenomenon has reportedly heightened concerns about 'supermoons' being linked to extreme weather events — such as earthquakes, volcanoes and tsunamis. The last time the moon passed close to the Earth was on 10 January 2005, around the time of the Indonesian earthquake that measured 9.0 on the Richter scale.
