Although most people don’t want to acknowledge it, we are facing a devastating multidimensional crisis on the earth.

We are running out of fresh water. We are running out of food supplies. We are running low on fossil fuels. The system is broken because it’s not delivering justice, and its not delivering environmental protections, it’s not delivering human rights.

All of this; it can, and it won’t.

I think it’s becoming more and more obvious that this is a crucial time of transformation on the earth. It’s just the initial resistance to change. That’s how we progress; we put ourselves out of the comfort zone.

This question of what will happen in 2012 may just be the wrong question.

We should be asking what type of change we can bring about in this time.  It doesn’t happen by someone snapping their fingers. People have to do something to make it happen. Social, big, huge change can come through personal change.

This is it… I mean this is our source of life.

Is time an illusion?

Time is the invention of thought which we use as a means of achieving enlightenment. The concepts of time and change may emerge from a universe that, at root, is static.

Our understanding of time is based on its relationship to our environment. Oddly, the faster you travel, the slower time moves. Past, present, and future are merely figments of our imagination, constructs built by our brains so that everything doesn’t seem to happen at once.

Time isn’t like other dimensions — we only move one way within it.

Be The Change

Our planet is experiencing change so rapid, so monumental, so overwhelming, that we have to wonder what the future has in store.

Has humanity lost its way?

Through the ages, great thinkers, scientists, shamans, philosophers, writers and spiritual leaders have tried to enlighten us to the hidden connections of our web of life, and increasingly we are confronted with their universal wisdom and logic that everything and all things are connected.

Humanity is reaching a pregnant moment in its development.

A crucial fork in its road of destiny. The next four years are considered to be particularly crucial. By 2012 we may be reaching a decision or chaos point beyond which we create a more secure and sustainable global society, or we suffer the consequences of systemic breakdown with social, economic and environmental systems on life support –or worst.

American Junkies

Here’s the bottom line.

You need to go out and look with your own eyes what is going on. The businesses closing around you. The empty storefronts. The empty homes, the demolished homes. The number of homeless people out there.

It’s a very scary situation.

The hallmark of a fascist economy is that profits are kept private. If you make a lot of money, and are willing to share a little with politicians you get to keep it.

Losses are socialized.

That is what all these bailouts are all about. Just like TARP and all of these other little acronyms they are using. They are basically taking all the bad deals that Wall Street, and the banks, the investment companies, and the real estate companies; all those bad deals they made are being dumped on you; the American taxpayer, and they are driving you into poverty doing so.  They are keeping the goodies to themselves; bonuses, huge amounts of money.

Is There Anything Left To Celebrate?

It would not seem so.

The United States of America is unrecognizable to any of us who can remember a time before the mid-'60s, although the roots of our present state of siege long predate our own lives. Today a Marxist-oriented Left owns the mass media, the schools, academia, and the government.

But it's not only the Left that has leached virtue out of the Republic. Trans-national capitalists wouldn't know patriotism if it bit them, unless the bite took something out of the balance sheet.

The terrible condition we have arrived at is not due to one or the other, but to an under-the-table alliance of both.

Both want the same, for different reasons.
