The Wise Man

The wise man tells you
Where you have fallen
And where you yet may fall —

Invaluable secrets!

Follow him, follow the way
Let him chasten and teach you
and keep you from mischief

The world may hate him
But good men love him

A Capitulation To Lies

Your commitment to Thanksgiving puts us critics in the position of internalizing one of the central messages promoted by the ideologues of capitalism – that individual behavior is more important than collective action.
That predatory corporate capitalism which naturalizes unjust hierarchy, as part of the overall project of discouraging political struggle and encouraging us to retreat into a private realm where life is defined by consumption.
So this November, rather than stuff your face with turkey and mashed potatoes...understand the truth about the national holiday, and why we should not celebrate Thanksgiving; A National Day of Atonement acknowledging the genocide of America's indigenous peoples.

Today we understand the Thanksgiving Day mythology and how it has been rooted in a fraudulent story – about the European invaders coming in peace to the "New World," eager to cooperate with indigenous people – which conveniently ignores the reality of European barbarism in the conquest of the continent.

Run Your Mouth

Me - me –me – me – me

That's all you ever talk about

Me - me –me – me – me

Sick of when you scream and shout

Me - me –me – me – me

So baby go and run your mouth

R- r - r run your mouth
R- r - r run your mouth

I - I - I - I – I

I try and show you that I'm there

I - I - I - I – I

I end up ripping out my hair

Why I - I - I - I – I

Do I even wanna care
W – w – w wanna care
Wanna care care

The Fool

How long the night to the watchman
How long the road to the weary traveler
How long the wandering of many lives
To the fool who misses the way
If the traveler cannot find
Master or friend to go with him
Let him travel alone
Rather than with a fool for company

"My children, my wealth!"

Veterans Awaken To Role As Corporate Mercenaries

When I was younger, I thought going into the military was the right thing to do and I joined voluntarily.

I saw it as an adventure and I was anxious to jump in and learn what 'being a man' was all about. Like Hemingway's fictional alter ego, Nick Adams in The Sun Also Rises, I wanted to get into the game and experience life to the hilt. Not unlike Nick Adams in the final chapter of the book, I also came to see things very differently on the far side of the journey.

During the Vietnam era, I had a very low opinion of draft dodgers, draft card burners, and war protesters in general. I assumed they were mostly spoiled and cowardly college wimps who were too good to get their hands dirty giving something back to their country and were mostly looking for an easy pretext to meet women. But I was naive and wholly ignorant of what was really taking place.

More importantly, I had no idea who was manipulating these events from behind the scenes. I unthinkingly accepted the cover story that it was those Godless communists who were agitating to take over all of Asia and they had to be stopped at all costs.

I was brainwashed.

Money Money Money Make Her Smile

All you get back, coming to the stage, is a girl who's new in town
She go by the name where your stacks at
This pretty little thing I swear won't let you down
Watch her drop it like... hey

It's not complicated, so this won't take a while
You see music make her dance, and money money money make her smile

Money money money make her smile
Money money money make her smile

She's a super freak

Choices

We are what we think
All that we are arises with our thoughts
With our thoughts we make the world

Speak or act with an impure mind
And trouble will follow you

As the wheel follows the ox that draws the cart

We are what we think
All that we are arises with our thoughts
With our thoughts we make the world

Speak or act with a pure mind

And happiness will follow you

As your shadow, unshakable

"Look how he abused me and hurt me
How he threw me down and robbed me"

Mother: Caring For 7 Billion

Mother is a groundbreaking and award-winning film that reveals the compelling challenges we face in a world of 7 billion.

It tells the story of Beth, an American mother and child's right activist, and her journey to make sense of how and why the empowerment of women and girls around the world is so intricately linked to our fate on this fragile planet, as she discovers the thorny complexities of the population dilemma and highlights a different path to solve it.

Mother features world-renowned experts to help explain one of the most persistent controversies in our culture that touches gender equity, religion, reproductive health and the environment.

It is a film of hope and shows the strength of the human spirit to make a better world.

Remember, Remember The 5th Of November

Remember remember the 5th of November,
that these wars of aggression,
this police state oppression,
hinges on one single thing—our cooperation.

It's not the tyrant at the top of the pyramid who has the final say
like most are conditioned to believe.
The real question is not who is issued the immoral order.

The real question is why do you obey it?

The Origins of Halloween: Season of the Crone

Excerpted from Man Made God

Halloween, Samhain, All Hallows, All Saints or Hallow-Eve is the season of the Crone.

In ancient paganism, the word Crone denoted an elder priestess or tribal matriarch; a cognate word is "crown," the symbol of a leader. The word was made pejorative when the Christian Church redefined all elder priestesses of the old religion as malevolent witches. Similarly, the word "hag" was once derived from Greek hagia—a holy woman—and also became a Christianized term for a witch.

The divine Crone was originally a part of the trinitarian Goddess, who appeared in Maiden, Mother and Crone forms, associated with the three phases of woman's life, the three phases of the moon and the annual cycles of nature.

Viewed as an underworld deity who cared for the dead, the Goddess as Crone ruled autumnal harvest festivals, when the spirits of dead ancestors could visit their descendants and share in the harvest feast. Among the Celts, the well-known "death's head at the feast" used to be an actual skull of an ancestor, set at the table to receive offerings, often with a candle set within it, to simulate the warmth of life and the light of vision.

The Man Who Is Awake

He is awake.
The victory is his.
He has conquered the world.
How can he lose the way

Who is beyond the way?

His eye is open
His foot is free.

Who can follow after him?

The world cannot reclaim him
Or lead him astray,
Nor can the poisoned net of desire hold him.

He is awake!

Creative Destruction

"Please get out of the new world if you can't lend a hand, for the times they are a-changin' "— Bob Dylan, poet and songwriter

"When a Cycle has run its course, change is imminent."— Joseph Panek

Every Divine Principle within the realm of Nature has a specific purpose.

One of the most basic Principles, and perhaps the one that is most universally ignored, is that of Creative Destruction.

Simply put, Creative Destruction is the razing, or tearing down, of the old in order to create the new.

Individuals, organizations and civilizations who Choose to ignore this eternally repeating process of Nature are Destined to suffer the tragedies which accompany the Destructive end of a Cycle. Those who recognize, and understand, this Divine Principle are the ones who prosper from the Creative changes to which a new Cycle gives birth.

The ancient teachings of civilizations and cultures throughout the world speak of the Principle of Creative Destruction in both their Mythology and Symbolism.

A Tale Of Two Worlds

Do you ever play these funky little logic puzzle things?

You might discover them when bored silly at the airport.

Nothing mysterious; they give you a set of system rules which discipline you towards achieving a certain goal. It's perhaps not the most exciting thing in entertainment today.

I don't know. Maybe there's something more to this whole logic and reason deal than just killing time while in transit?

Of course, we all naturally assume that we're being well-reasoned in our decision making, right?

In fact, it can be argued that to some degree such associative, causal logic is inherently inescapable, effectively wired into our brains with respect to how we interpret and link our experiences. Yet, it's that very issue of degree that appears to be where the problems arise, as all too often the foundational premises upon which we frame our conclusions are indeed utterly faulty or without proper evidence to be considered factual to begin with.

Needless to say, being logical within a cognitive framework of the illogical only takes you so far.

Wakefulness

Wakefulness is the way to life
The fool sleeps
As if he were already dead
But the master is awake
And he lives forever
He watches
He is clear
How happy he is!
For he sees that wakefulness is life
How happy he is
Following the path of the awakened
With great perseverance
He meditates, seeking
Freedom and happiness
So awake, reflect, watch
Work with care and attention
Live in the way

The Greatest Epidemic Sickness Known to Humanity

In the book Columbus and other Cannibals, indigenous author Jack D. Forbes lucidly explores a psychological disease that has been informing human self-destructive behavior that Native American people have known about for years.

After reading his book, it was clear to me that he was describing the same psycho-spiritual disease of the soul that I wrote about in my book, The Madness of George W. Bush: A Reflection of our Collective Psychosis.

I introduce the idea that from the dawn of human history our species has fallen prey to a collective psychosis which I call malignant egophrenia.

Speaking about this very same psychic epidemic, Forbes writes,
"For several thousands of years human beings have suffered from a plague, a disease worse than leprosy, a sickness worse than malaria, a malady much more terrible than smallpox."

No End In Sight

I have built my death bed;
It is through years of effort.
It is nothing simple to say the least; or profound.
It simply is a matter of illusion in this illusory state like everything else.

I spent years in trying to have a deeper connection with this existence.
Building naivity and connections to the self,
without breaking off from the other.
But all this yielded less than any use.
The lesson became more pronounced,
the more I tried to break away from it.
Now on my death bed;
I see everything which came a full circle.
All knowledge and wisdom of little or no use,
the love which was built upon with the beloved, destroyed -
 burnt down to ashes.

A Call To Awareness In Hip-Hop

Our generation has personally witnessed and experienced the birth, maturation, manipulation and degradation of Hip-Hop as a culture born out of injustice and adopted as the quintessential voice to those for whom justice and equality has turned a blind eye.

Like government, religion and all other institutions, Hip-Hop is also a tool, and like all tools it can be used either to build or to destroy depending on who's hand wields it.

Unfortunately, as we have clearly witnessed in both government and religion, Humanity has once again handed over yet another tool – the mighty hammer that is Hip-Hop — to those who wish to strike us down and remodel the culture we have slowly built from the ground up into an abomination that serves their material self-interests.

Today, we see in Hip-Hop the results of a culture hijacked by a corporate machine engaged in a war against all of Humanity, bent on dividing us from other cultures, fueling our mistrust and hatred towards one another, and ultimately controlling us through fear.

Hip-Hop as a tool is now a weapon of mass destruction aimed directly at the Hip-Hop culture, and all other cultures interwoven with Hip-Hop shall be considered collateral damage.

I Am Me

I'm me, I'm me, and that's all I can be
I'm me, I'm me, here's my vulnerability
I'm free and you can't stop me
I'm free and that's all I can be
Days pass, I'm tryna find who I really am
I've been lookin'
People don't like the way I dress, or where I am at
I've been lookin'
I dye my hair and it's not just vanity
I've been lookin'
Your validation is just not that important to me
I'm me, I'm me, and that's all I can be
I'm me, I'm me, here's my vulnerability
I'm free and you can't stop me
I'm free, I'm me, and that's all I can be
Night falls and I find it's here I am in peace
I've been lookin'

To Live In The Moment

To know love is to let go.

Letting go is necessary for the universe to continually evolve, for non-attachment is the essence of all growth.

Non-attachment is to always live consciously in the moment; to not hold on to the past or to the future that is yet to come.

To live in the moment doesn't mean to not care about the past, but rather to not allow the past to keep us from appreciating the moment at hand.

To live in the moment doesn't mean to not look forward to the future, but rather to not allow the future to outshine the moment that longs to be noticed.

To live in the moment is to see everything that comes your way not as obstacles, but as opportunities for reciprocal growth and understanding of Self.

Non-attachment is to always allow for change, for change is the only constant thing in life.

Non-attachment is to unselfishly give of yourself without expecting anything in return.

Non-attachment is to always be in love with the moment and what it has in store for us as a new moment unfolds.

Our attachment to our Ego — that which keeps our minds stuck in either the past or the future so as to prevent our hearts from experiencing the present moment — is the cause of all suffering.

To truly experience love, we must let go and realize that loss is but an Illusion that prevents us from finding our Selves.

There is no such thing as the past.

There is no such thing as the future.

There is only the present.

There is only this moment, and there will never again be a moment quite like the moment you and I are sharing right now. [source]

The Sun's Love

If we can only love each other, the same way that the sun loves the earth.

Always shining light and never asking for anything in return.

I play poker with tarot cards trying to figure out if this is my destiny or if my reflection is bluffing.

If you have a staring contest with a mirror, there will always be a tie ending.

Trying to figure out if you are who you think you are, or just a reflection looking back.

So when you see the mirror, do you see yourself?

Or do you see what others see underneath your flesh?

Do you feel what others see is real?

Queen Of California

Goodbye cold, goodbye rain
Goodbye sorrow, goodbye shame
I'm headed out west with my headphones on
Boarded a flight with a song in the back of my soul

And no one knows

I just found out her ghost left town
The Queen of California is stepping down, down

Hello beauty, hello strange
Hello wonder, what's your name?
Looking for the sun that Neil Young hung
After the gold rush of 1971

I just found out her ghost left town
The Queen of California is stepping down, down

If you see her say, "Hello"
Just don't tell me, "I told you so"
Joni wrote Blue in her house by the sea
I gotta believe there’s another color waiting on me
To set me free

I just found out her ghost left town
The Queen of California is stepping down, down

I Am A Champion

used to bite my tongue and hold my breath
Scared to rock the boat and make a mess

So I sat quietly
Agreed politely

I guess that I forgot I had a choice
I let you push me past the breaking point

I stood for nothing
so I fell for everything

You held me down

But I got up

Already brushing off the dust

You hear my voice
You hear that sound
Like thunder
Gonna shake the ground

You held me down

Done With Your Lies

It ain't complicated
Well, I've grown to hate it
I never liked the taste of crow but baby I ate it

They tried to warn me

They said that you were ornery

So don't bring me those big brown eyes and tell me that you're sorry

Well you might as well throw gasoline on a fire

The way you lie

You lie like a priceless Persian rug on a rich man's floor
Well, You lie like a coon dog basking in the sunshine on my porch
It just comes way too natural to you

The way you lie

Who Is Barack Obama?

Where are the old Obama girlfriends?

Think about this and see if there's anything here you don't believe.

I hadn't thought about this - but where are Obama's... past girlfriends, surely he had at least one?

No past girl friends popping up anywhere?

Strange - strange to the point of being downright weird!

OK, this is just plain old common sense, no political agendas for either side.

Just common knowledge for citizens of a country, especially American citizens, who know every little tidbit about every other president (and their wives) that even know that Andrew Jackson's wife smoked a corn cob pipe and was accused of adultery, or that Lincoln never went to school or Kennedy wore a back brace, or Truman played the piano.

We are Americans!

Our media vets these things out! We are known for our humanitarian interests and caring for our 'fellow man.'

We care, but none of us know one single humanizing fact about the history of our own president.

March On Washington - 50 Years Later

Today, in celebration of the 50th anniversary of the the historic March on Washington, tens of thousands of people crowded the streets along the reflection pond, and up to the Lincoln Memorial in Washington D.C. and demanded action on voting rights, economic and social justice.

Fifty years ago, the marchers were able to break unprecedented filibusters and obstructions to force Congress to pass the Civil Rights Act and Voting Rights Act.

In the past few years and even months, these same rights have come under attack, from the Supreme Court to places like Texas and North Carolina.

These attacks include restrictive ID requirements, which would limit early voting and cause long lines on Election Day, and voting districts designed to dilute voters' voices. Across the country, people will not be able to exercise their most fundamental right to vote if you don't take action now and tell Congress to act.

A Sad Day For All Americans

A military judge has sentenced Army whistleblower Bradley Manning to 35 years. Below are comments from legal and human rights organizations:

The Center for Constitutional Rights:

We are outraged that a whistleblower and a patriot has been sentenced on a conviction under the Espionage Act. The government has stretched this archaic and discredited law to send an unmistakable warning to potential whistleblowers and journalists willing to publish their information. We can only hope that Manning’s courage will continue to inspire others who witness state crimes to speak up.

This show trial was a frontal assault on the First Amendment, from the way the prosecution twisted Manning’s actions to blur the distinction between whistleblowing and spying to the government’s tireless efforts to obstruct media coverage of the proceedings.

Peaceful Warrior

Dan Millman has it all: good grades, a shot at the Olympic team on the rings and girls lining up for the handsome Berkeley college athlete all teams mates look up to with envy.

Only one man shakes his confidence, an anonymous night gas station attendant, who like Socrates, keeps questioning every assumption in his life.

Then a traffic crash shatters Dan's legs, and his bright future. Now Socrates's life coaching is to make or break Dan's revised ambition.

That is what this movie is all about, breaking free from all the misconceptions we have and living in the moment, a moment that is rich with all the things we think are missing and in actuality are present in every heartbeat, so close and in our face that most of us miss it.

Ethics vs Morals

Ethics and morals both relate to “right” and “wrong” conduct.

However, ethics refer to the series of rules provided to an individual by an external source.

On the other hand, morals refer to an individual’s own principles regarding right and wrong.

Ethics
>>The rules of conduct recognized in respect to a particular class of human actions or a particular group, culture, etc.
Social system — It defines how thing are according to the rules.
External source — Society says it is the right thing to do.

Anonymous - PRISM & Edward Snowden

Greetings citizens of the world, we are Anonymous.

For many years now, we have warned the citizens of the world about the threats that government pose to the freedoms of the internet. Over this period of time many people have woken up to the lies told by government officials and now understand the importance of keeping the internet open and free for all to use.

The events that have transpired over the recent days have proven, indisputably, that the governments of the United States and the United Kingdom are trying with all effort possible to monitor the internet.

You might ask us, if not to fight terrorism, what are they looking for?

The governments of the world are corrupted to the core, by greed and lust, intoxicated by power, they fear losing this power to the people. Let us look at this secret spy system:
Prism, and its apparent effectiveness.
It has failed to stop terrorism, but has succeeded in monitoring everyone in the world, even law abiding citizens.

Tolerance vs Acceptance

It seems to me that many people have fallen into a comfortable space whereas they are starting to toss around these new buzz words, "tolerate"  and "acceptance" like loose change rolling off their tongues.

But what does it buy?  A hope for equality?

Tolerance is defined by Dictionary as:
1. a fair, objective, and permissive attitude toward those whose opinions, practices, race, religion, nationality, etc., differ from one’s own; freedom from an understanding
Acceptance is defined as:
2. favorable reception; approval; favor through understanding.

Bradley Manning Statement

"First, your honor,  I want to start off with an apology. I am sorry that my actions hurt people.
I'm sorry I hurt the United States.
At the time of my decisions, as you know, I was dealing with a lot of issues, issues that are ongoing and continuing to affect me. Although a considerable difficulty in my life, these issues are not an excuse for my actions.
I understood what I was doing, and decisions I made. However, I did not fully appreciate the broader effects of my actions.
Those factors are clear to me now, through both self-refection during my confinement in various forms, and through the merits and sentencing testimony that I have seen here.
I am sorry for the uintentended consequences of my actions. When I made these decisions I believed I was going to help people, not hurt people.

The Moon: An Unexplained Phenomenon

Here is a collection of interesting quotes from scientists, authors, researchers, NASA insiders and star-gazers relating to the enigmatic and often inexplicable nature of the moon:

"We cannot help but come to the conclusion that the Moon by rights ought not to be there. The fact that it is, is one of the strokes of luck almost too good to accept… Small planets, such as Earth, with weak gravitational fields, might well lack satellites… … In general then, when a planet does have satellites, those satellites are much smaller than the planet itself. Therefore, even if the Earth has a satellite, there would be every reason to suspect… that at best it would be a tiny world, perhaps 30 miles in diameter. But that is not so. Earth not only has a satellite, but it is a giant satellite, 2160 miles in diameter. How is it then, that tiny Earth has one? Amazing."
"The Moon, which has no atmosphere and no magnetic field, is basically a freak of nature"

A Wake

I need love
You need love
Give me love
And I'll give you my love

They say thirty is the new twenty
And twenty is the new thirty shit I guess
Makes sense, cause fifteen year olds seem twenty
And twenty five year olds seem ten
I used to drink away my paycheck
Celebrate the mistakes I hadn't made yet
Our generation isn't the best on safe sex
We forget the latex, becoming Planned Parenthood patients
Synthetic heroin is the new basehead
So much to escape, fuck a straight edge
Walk around looking through a fake lens
Apps this good, who's got time to make friends?
I wish I didn't care
If cynical hispters with long hair
And cocaine problems, like my music
It's not my issue, I can't solve it

I Took The Bull By Her Horns

There's a side to you
that I never knew
                             never knew

All the things you'd say
they were never true
                           never true

And the games you play
you would always win
                              always win

But I set fire to the rain

watched it pour as I touched your face

Well, it burned while I cried
'Cause I heard it screaming out your name
                                   your name!

But I set fire to the rain

Mass Suicide Of Indigenous Tribes

Guarani-Kaiowás are an indigenous people of Paraguay, the Brazilian state of Mato Grosso do Sul and northeastern Argentina.

In Brazil, they inhabit Nhande Ru Marangatu, an area of tropical rainforest.

This was declared a reservation in October 2004.

They are one of the three Guaraní sub-groups (the others are Ñandeva and Mbya).

Guaraní alongside Spanish is the official language in the latter country.

The Guarani were one of the first peoples contacted after Europeans arrived in South America around 500 years ago.

They mainly live in the Brazilian state of Mato Grosso do Sul, and is estimated that more than 30,000 Guaranis live in Brazil, and in Paraguay the numbers reach about 40,000, making them the country’s most numerous tribe; not to mention thousands that live in neighboring Bolivia and Argentina.

I Met The Walrus

I was 14 in 1969 when John Lennon mysteriously appeared in Toronto.

My world revolved around The Beatles and John was my hero.

I instinctively knew that I had to find him, and more importantly, talk with him.

So I skipped school and made my trek at 7:00 a.m. to a hotel I guessed he would stay in, went to the top floor, knocked on every door and woke a lot of disgruntled people.

A cleaning lady asked,
Are you looking for the Beatle?
I said yes and she told me where he was.

Reclaim Your Mind

Catalyst to say what has never been said.

To see what has never been seen.

To draw, paint, sing, sculpt, dance and act what has never before been done.

To push the envelope of creativity and language. And what’s really important is:
I call it the ‘felt presence of direct experience.'
Which is a fancy term which just simply means we have to stop consuming our culture.

Letter To Bill Gates

Dear Bill Gates,

How are you?

It's really great that you are using your billions to save lives with all those vaccines.

Wasn't it weird about all those areas of India where the polio vaccines linked to your foundation, were widely administered, just so happened to end up with 47,500 paralyzed children.

I don't know if it's true since the TV news won't report on it, it's kind of like it doesn't exist.

The french news paper La Voix du Nord reported on new meningitis vaccine; again linked to your foundation, that paralyzed at least 50 children in Chad, Africa.

Must be a lot more cost effective to spend billions on vaccines rather than just a few million on healthy food, clean water and sanitation.

Bananas!*

I know this is long overdue, but I just got around to watching the documentary BANANAS!*.  No, not the early Woody Allen classic, but a campaigning documentary from Swedish film-maker Fredrik Gertten

A new wave of class-action lawsuits is being taken out against the Dole Food Company, which for decades used controversial chemicals on their banana plantations in Nicaragua, causing sterility among male workers.

This documentary allows you, the viewer, to ponder the possibility that this is a lawyers' gold rush, but the employers' complacency and defensiveness tell their own story.

It seems that US corporations may be reaping a whirlwind of litigation from developing-world communities in Latin America for years to come, and like the cigarette companies, they will fight it every step of the way.

What a prospect.

The Revolution Of Values

The real revolution, is the revolution of values.

Human society appears centuries behind in the way that it operates, and hence what it values.

If we wish to progress and solve the mounting problems at hand, and in affect reverse what is an accelerating decline in our civilization in many ways.

We need to change the way we think about ourselves and hence the world we inhabit.

The Zeitgeist Movements central task is to work to bring this value shift to light.

Unifiying the human family with the basic perspective that we all share this small planet, and we are all bound by the same natural order of laws, that is realized by the method of science.

This common ground understanding that stems much farther than many have understood in the past.

The symbiosis of the human species and the synergistic relationship of our place in the physical world confirms that we are not separate entities of any respect, and that the new societal awakening must show a working social model that has arrived at, from this inherient logic if we expect to prosper in the long term.

We can align or we can suffer, it's up to us.

Rachel Parent Owns Ignorant Kevin O'Leary

Her name is Rachel Parent, and she's suddenly an internet sensation for her cool-headed debate about GMOs on a popular Canadian TV show.

(She's also the founder of the Kids Right to Know GMO Walk) As you'll see in the video below, Rachel calmly argues for the basic human right to know what's in our food, even as the condescending bully of a host named Kevin O'Leary verbally assaults the girl and practically accuses her of murdering children.

During the debate, Kevin O'Leary, co-host of the The Lang And O'Leary Exchange show, viciously attacked Rachel, first accusing her of being a "lobbyist" against GMOs (an absurd accusation that O'Leary knows is false, as there is no corporate interest in honest food labeling), and then equating her position of questioning GMOs with somehow supporting a holocaust of widespread death of children.

When Some Liberators Were Criminals

With the anniversary of the 1944 D-Day invasion last month, there's an untold story that's coming to light about some of the soldiers who took part — and we warn you, it's not an easy story to hear.

The Allied landing on the Normandy beaches marked the beginning of the end of World War II —  conflict of such vast suffering as to defy comprehension.

"This is the greatest catastrophe in human history,"
"There's 60 million people who die in World War II. It's a death every three seconds for six years." said Pulitzer Prize-winning author Rick Atkinson

The Shape Of The Future - HAARP

In my younger days I was a "HAM" radio operator, K1FJS.

My hang out was the 20 meter band.

Since we used crystals that were made to a specific frequency, it was easy to make a perfectly tuned antenna with some copper wire.

You divided the speed of light (299,792,458 meters per second) by the frequency you wanted to target (in Hz). The result was in meters and you could make your piece of wire by using a quarter of this length.

To This Day

When I was a kid
I used to think that pork chops and karate chops
were the same thing
I thought they were both pork chops

And because my grandmother thought it was cute
and because they were my favorite
she let me keep doing it

Not really a big deal

One day
before I realized fat kids are not designed to climb trees
I fell out of a tree
and bruised the right side of my body

I didn’t want to tell my grandmother about it
because I was afraid I’d get in trouble
for playing somewhere that I shouldn’t have been

Invisible Lines

The world as we know it is currently covered in invisible lines.

Sometimes these lines follow rivers or trace mountain ranges; sometimes they’re straight, drawn to mirror other invisible lines that are measured in degrees.

We also like to imagine coloring in these invisible lines, to differentiate them on maps of the Earth.

Sometimes the lines have fences tracing them; and sometimes the lines leave no trace at all.

Man, That's Gay

When I was in the 3rd grade
I thought that I was gay cause I could draw
my uncle was

And I kept my room straight

I told my mom, tears rushing down my face

She's like, " you've loved girls since before pre-K"

Trippin', yeah, I guess she had a point, didn't she
A bunch of stereotypes all in my head

I remember doing the math like

Owned & Operated

Owned & Operated is a mosaic of the world through the lens of the Internet.

Showing our lives as consumers, under the thumbs of privileged individuals and their methods of control.

We are set to watch the world as seen by a consumer society whereas the few consumers do not share most of the resources.

In this first part, we hear about 'Occupy', 'Anonymous', and 'Zeitgeist' but feel powerless.

Then, we hear about the so many new ways and inventive approaches taken by small groups across the world to change what is creating great instabilities.

The American Dream Is Dead

I cannot carry the torch any longer for this country.

America is not the land of the free, nor is it the home of the brave.

It is neither of those things.

America is a country of aggressively ignorant fucking cowards.

People that are willing to just hand over their civil liberties —lock stock and barrel.  Without even taking the time to inform themselves.

Baby Go Boom

"....at 2:50 pm, more than half the runners were through...."

[Explosion] The first bomb explodes.
"...breaking news from Canada. Police say they've broken up an Al-Qaeda-linked terrorist attack that was aimed to disrupt a major North American transportation route...."
"...a sharp new warning of all-out war. For the first time, the mysterious and secretive nation has threatened a preemptive nuclear strike against the US..."
"...in Europe, Spain is also feeling the economic pinch. One in four are now currently unemployed in that country, and the EU expects that number to climb even higher...."
"...China and neighboring countries are mobilizing resources to fight off a new strain of bird flu...."
"...hospitals in a race against time to contain nightmare super bacteria before it spreads from the hospital out into the world...."
If you watch the news these days, there seems to be a lot to be concerned about.

Letter To The Future

Dear Human,

You have undoubtedly come so far since this letter was written. It brings your ancestors great pleasure knowing that our sacrifice led to a mass awakening and you have inherited this Earth better than it was when we left it.

The transition did not come easy.

In matter of fact, we had to discover deeper layers of darkness in our collective consciousness in order for this to happen.

It's difficult to admit this, just as I'm sure that it's difficult for you to understand how we could possibly have acted the way we did.

We did things to each other. Terrible things.

Before my generation, war shaped countries to become what they are.

Billions of people experienced slavery, torture, murder, rape, and death.

We judged each other. We hated each other. We were afraid of what was different, because we did not realize that we are the same.

Snowden Shows Puppet Strings

Ok, here's an interesting article that seems to be a contrived release intended by it's source to paralyze the public into inaction from fear of causing an agricultural disaster.

There was certain people, and information released that the United States deems a huge security breach, that harmed the country terribly.

One thing we must all be aware of; if the government did not want this information released, they won't let it.

A Prime Example:

Professor Joseph Moshe had called into a live radio show by Dr. A. True Ott, broadcast on Republic Broadcasting claiming to be a microbiologist who wanted to supply evidence to a States Attorney regarding tainted H1N1 Swine flu vaccines being produced by Baxter BioPharma Solutions. He said that Baxters Ukrainian lab was in fact producing a bioweapon disguised as a vaccine. He claimed that the vaccine contained an adjuvant (additive) designed to weaken the immune system, and replicated RNA from the virus responsible for the 1918 pandemic Spanish flu, causing global sickness and mass death.

None So Blind To The Iron Web

The United States is fast losing its reputation as the land of happiness and prosperity.

With a sinking economy at home and rising tensions abroad, fear and discontent are boiling over.

The Great American Experiment is faltering.

From early childhood most people are conditioned to listen to authority when they try to figure out what is right and what is wrong instead of listening to their own hearts, their own conscience and their own moral values.

You can not begin to imagine in how many ways the world is opposite from what you have been taught to believe.

You see the guy who sells drugs to willing customers so he can feed his family as the scum of the earth.

While you see the hypocrite who gives away stolen money in the name of government as a saint.

You see the guy who tries to avoid being robbed by the federal thugs as a crook and a tax cheat, but see as virtuious the politician who gives away the same stolen loot to people to whom it does not belong.
