We have made life into a hideous thing. Living life has become a battle, which is an obvious fact. There has been constant fighting. We have divided living from death, we separate it. We see death as something horrible, something to be frightened about. Yet, we accept this living in misery. If we didn't accept this existence as misery, than life and death are the same movement.
Living, Love and Death are one. One must totally die to find what love is.
To go into this question, what is death?... what lies beyond death...is there reincarnation....becomes rather meaningless, if you do not know how to live.

If the human being knows how to live in this world without conflict then death has quite a different meaning.
Right?
Right?
We are all one, basically. Not as an idea, but as a fact. In India you see the misery, the confusion, the anxiety, the dispair of people, running to their petty little gods that they have created. When you go to Europe, you experience the exact same thing. Here in America it's not much different either.
First to realize, not verbally, but in your heart, your blood, your whole thinking...that human beings around the world goes through the same agonies that one goes through. The loneliness, the dispair, the depressions, the extraordinary uncertainty, insecurity, whether they live 10 thousand miles away or 2 thousand miles, or here, they are all psychologically bound together. If one realizes that profoundly, in your guts, your blood, your heart and your mind...then you are responsible.
We have created this society, not each one of you reading this....our past generations have created this society. We also have those who have created this present immoral destructive society, in which we are trapped by the very same society. A society which is made by each one of us.
So you and I are responsible for this society.
Whether it is possible not to change society, but is it possible to radically deeply transform our condition, which is to understand deeply our consciousness, which is what we are. Is it possible to transform, not into something, but to change, to bring about a mutation in the very structure of nature in our culture?
That is the problem. That is the crisis. It's not a political crisis, or an economic crisis, or the crisis of war. The crisis is in ourselves. Apparently, we can not face that crisis, or we are unwilling to face it. So we try to escape from that fact through various forms of entertainment such as religious, political, sports and all the rest of it. As things are from what one observes, the world has become tremedously dangerous. Terrorists, Wars, and national divisions, racial divisions, and some dicatars who want to destroy the world, and so on.
Also we are seeing, the content of our consciousness, the content being, what you think...what you feel, your reactions...your despairs, your pleasures, your depressions, your sorrow, your beliefs, your desperate loneliness and your fear of ultimate death. This is all that you are.
What I am asking you is, can the content end?
All that we have invented, the symbols in the church, the rituals, they are all put there by thought. Thought has invented these things. Let's get real, thought has invented the savior. Thought has invented the temples in India and contents of those temples. Thought has invented all these things called sacred. You cannot deny that. So thought in itself is not sacred, and when thought invents God, God is...not sacred. So what becomes sacred, since religions cause tremendous separation from this.
That can only be understood or happen when there is complete freedom. Freedom from fear, from sorrow, and when there is this sense of love and compassion with it's own intelligence. Then, when the mind is utterly still, that which is sacred can then take place.
What is the future of man?
Not only the present generation, but for the coming generation. Currently it appears very grim. Very depressing, dangerous, and very uncertain. What is a young person just starting off to do? I mean you need a livelihood, some sort of profession. I'm sure this is a problem alot of young people are facing.
Why are we concerned about the future? Isn't it true, that the whole future is NOW?

What purpose is there for this concept?
Mankind, man has lived on this earth over 50 thousand years and perhaps much longer. In all this long evolution, man has not found peace on earth. Pantheism has been preached long before christianity by ancient hindus and buddhists. All through this time, man has lived in conflict. Not only conflict with his neighbor, but with people of his own community, of his own society, with his own family. His false struggle against man, for the last 5 thousand years, and perhaps more historically, there has been wars, practially every year, and we are still at war. I believe there are 40 wars going on in the present time.
And the religious hierarchy not only the Vatican but the other groups have talked about peace on earth, goodwill among men. It never comes about, to have peace on earth. The only time you will have peace is when you die you go to heaven.
If your really serious about change, then if you really look at why man kills other human beings in the name of God...in the name of Peace...in the name of some ideology...or for his country (whatever that may mean) or For the queen, or king....whatever the case. We all know this, but man has never been able to live on this earth, in peace with other human beings.
Religions whether they be christianity, hinduism, buddhism ...They are all at war with each other. Nations are at war, groups are at war, Ideologies...whetherr they be Russian, or American, or any other category of ideologies, they are all at war with each other, in constant conflict. After living on this earth for so many centuries, why is it that man can not live peacefullly on this marvelous earth? This question has been asked over and over again, and we have formed The United Nations around this ideology. What is the future of this organisation? It's creation is from war, and it thrives from war.
Time is a strange factor in life. Time is very important for all of us, and the future is what is present, the future is now....because the present which is also the past, is modifiying itself now, becomes the future. This has been the cycle of time, and at the present time if there is no radical change, or fundamental mutation, the future is..what is what we have NOW.
This has been historically proved, and you can see it in our daily lives.
