Nodding Off

I look at my planet and I see that it's dying,

that it's covered all over with people grieving and crying.

Global warming coming through and they're not even leaving a pint,

that's the indisputable reason the seasons are drying.

Some people fleein' to Zion, others agree in compliance,

so while the president deceiving and lying, I'm trying to lead an alliance.

We need to stomp like the feet of a giant,

light it up and keep on feeding the fires.

Because I've seen too many seated in silence,

it's time to counteract this legion of tyrants,

the system will break with increase of defiance.

Motivate, all my people stay strong, let's move,

it's amazing all the ways that this life will test you.

Stay awake to the ways of the world, you're nodding off,

we tell 'em that a world is at stake, but it's not enough.

And I pray some day we'll learn to save the soul,

but damn, I guess we got a ways to go.
