Now I've been blogging for a few years, during which I have posted several articles pertaining to an Awakening.
In am going to attempt to answer what the Awakening means to me, and in hopes of answering one of my readers questions that was sent to me through email.
Mark S. asks:
"What is the importance of a spiritual awakening in all of this?" "Why waken?" "From what are we actually waking from? “What exactly do you mean by “will you be awakened?”
This is a bit tricky and a little difficult to address the questions, because I do not proclaim to have all the answers. And besides, why would you want me to answers your questions. Why would you accept my answers? Wouldn't it be best for you to come across the answers through your own experience, and perception?
Similar to when the church's proclamation that Jesus died for me. A claim I rebuke, and assert the question, Why would I want someone to die for my sins? That's sort of a rip off. I mean, I need and want to experience life for myself, and own each experience. I want to create my own sins, if that's the case.

One very important thing you must know is that everything an “Awakened” person says or writes is not necessarily "Profound Truth."
Now I will say this:
Run fast from anyone who says they know all of everything. The fact is, no one can ever claim a patent on reality. Therefore nobody should be considered an "ultimate" expert on anything.

Each January, I go back through each of my articles and re-read them. There have been times when I no longer believe what I wrote. If something I write triggers something inside of you, then I urge you to continue in the search for your truth.
Just because someone may believe in something, doesn't make it true.
You’ll know if something resonates with you by comparing what I'm saying to your own experience and intuition. If something I say feels useful to you, then awesome, but if not, no worries.

Speaking of debates, I have to throw a quick shout out to an old friend of mine, George Jimenez. We both worked for Zero G Software, the makers of a multi-platform software deployment solution. We became friends after working together in San Francisco back during the dot com boom. It was an experience I shall never forget.Remember when disposable cash was common?
It was a great time. I remember we both purchased these electric scooters that we use to get around town. Especially at lunch time we would take them out and ride around SOMA. Looking back, I can see that we were living in an illusion.
That's for sure.
I was facing a lonely existence since the passing of my dog, Brandy. But to my surprise, a friendship has been re-ignited. It's a great feeling to know you have friends.
George and I spoke the other day, and it seems like we just picked up from where we left off. There was alot of laughter. What is really charming about George is his intellect. His methodology is very logical.
We talked about alot—with serious debate. After our conversation, my mind was invaded with a perception, or rather a perspective, of which I was unaware of.
George made some good points, which awakened me to a totally new perception of myself.
If you get a chance, check out George's podcast called, "Menacing Intentions," which is aired on Pirate Cat Radio. His on air persona, Green Ego can be described as:
"A confused new waver with skull boots on, tries to pose as a punk, while grooving to melting beats under a giant shiny disco ball."
Anyhow, the point I'm trying to make is, I was awakened to a completely different perspective. I actually had to untighten my fists and take into consideration his truth but for the sake of argument, we both agreed to disagree.
So one could awaken to the fundamental fact that truth (reality) is relative to individual pardigm.
A Political Awakening
This past year has yielded a lot of information about the powers behind world events.
All the chatter surrounding the latest Wikileaks scandal, and concerns whether Julian Assange is a hero, or it should be off with his head!
In my opinion, I think Julian is a hero and a true patriot, if ever there was one.
Ok, here is what bothers me about the whole document dump, it's the fact that no one, including the mainstream media (duh) is even beginning to ask the important questions like:
What does this tell us about our government?
What does this tell us about our government?
Can we now see that we have been manipulated by government, and big corporations?
Now on the other hand, would our government be to be taken down so easily? A new 9-11?

I think the whole story sounds a little contrived. I mean the government had plenty of time to stop the leaks, but they didn't. Come on—get real...of course they had to have of known this.
Could this somehow be designed to provide reason for the government to gain even more control over the American people?
New internet laws against the people to tightening the control of the internet.
Down The Rabbit Hole

This last year we have seen governments giving the people’s money to the banks. Some call them the Illuminati—but whatever the label, one can openly observe that there are an elite group behind the scenes choosing the puppets we call presidents and prime ministers.
It’s become apparent that "We the People" are being seen as an enemy.
The TV news has become a laughable parody of minor celebrities and senseless sports, with American Idol and Glee being critically analyzed instead of hard-line world issues.
And sports are nothing more than meaningless games created to cause competition between men, and separation between women. Turns out that all these top atheletes all have lost their moral/ethical compass, and are completely lost.
Unfortunately, this is what parents allow their children to see as role models.

Television soap operas are social engineering created as a mere distraction, and newspapers are now seen as what they are, just rags of lowbrow titillation which the awakened person no longer accepts nor supports.
Rupert Murdoch has twisted all of the information in the newspapers and is part of the same anti democratic group that run TV and entertainment; this monopoly does not report news, its remit is to ‘make it’.
The Queen’s televised speech was not about the country in crisis, people living on the streets, jobs and homes being snatched from British families, old people dying of starvation and hyperthermia, the economy, freezing weather, GM foods, more wars being prepared.
Nope.
It was about sport! Another out of touch ‘let the people eat cake’ speech. So the message is that people can't have homes, jobs, clean water, or real food—but they can have sport.
We must awaken to the fact that if we "stand together", we can accomplish so much:
No more bail outs of crooked bankers
No Genetically Modified Foods.
No Draft Wars
Peace
Real Food
Clean Water
Housing for All
Education for All
No more Oil
The list can go on and on, but all this must be without the nonsense of hatred and propaganda.
The full moon on August 1st is in Aquarius which fell on Barack Obama’s birthday on August 1st.

Of course not everyone will venture this far down the rabbit hole.
On fundamental fact remains plainfully clear, and that is for them to succeed there must be continued conflict and division among society. This is how they divide and conquer.
Sadly, it's been working perfectly.

Saints and sages through the ages have referred to the average person as to being in a state of sleep.
These people are sometimes referred to as sleepwalkers or sleep walking –a person who is unaware of reality.
So it would only be logical to believe that someone who is Awakened or who is Awake would be in a place or state that a person such as Jesus or the Buddha —someone enlightened. I believe there are several levels of awakening.
Similar to the seven steps of Ascension.
During my own journey I have come to question consciousness—oneness and unity. I have read many books from these so called Masters, but the more I read, the more I felt dissatisfied. Most of these people were no longer alive, and available for questioning. Additionally, I just felt that I needed to experience life myself in order to understand the whole.
Like I said above. "I don't want to experience life through someone elses eyes, I want to experience life through my own experience."

I created my blog with the intention that it would ignite an awakening in others. To give others something that might help expand their concepts of reality. To assist in the broadening of perspectives.

ReplyDeleteWHY is it important? Because of the insidious nature of New Age belief systems which pretend and beguile and USE Goddess symbolism but not in an authentic earth-based way---ie., under the phony smile 'positive thinking' pretence, there is racism, misogyny, and disrespect for nature.
An authentic Goddess understanding would reveal there does not have to BE 'ascencion' as where this is ascent there is descent, and in Goddess religion the DESCENT is the most important because it is going into how we really are---all the nooks and crannies and releasing all these energies.
As for 'enlightenemnt'---Well it is the sacred fruit of the Goddess. here is an example of how the andocentric mindset will infiltrate a deeper understanding:
The garden of Eden myth in biblical genesis. it is written by an andocentric mindset and notice how it tries through the propaganda of its words to undermine primordial images associated with the Goddess and the benevolence of entheogenic fruit. So---'God/male elite authority' curse the Serpent, the Woman(really the Goddess, and mankind --for disobedience to HIS authority---and nature itself as being 'fallen' because of Adam's disobedience. But really --seeing through the propaganda of 'HIS WORD' the tale is a very old one about the Tree of Life, guarded by the Serpent, in the Garden of the Goddess, and upon this Tree grows the Fruit of Enlightenment---the entheogenic fruit/Medicina which opens the eyes to the wonder and beauty and sacredness of us, our body, nature, and soul. THAT is enlightenment itself---and from there we integrate this experience into intelligent every day living. Caring for others and nature which is home---which sustains us. If we are divided from nature and our body and soul we are divided from our selves.
