Our planet is experiencing change so rapid, so monumental, so overwhelming, that we have to wonder what the future has in store.
Has humanity lost its way?
Through the ages, great thinkers, scientists, shamans, philosophers, writers and spiritual leaders have tried to enlighten us to the hidden connections of our web of life, and increasingly we are confronted with their universal wisdom and logic that everything and all things are connected.
Humanity is reaching a pregnant moment in its development.
A crucial fork in its road of destiny. The next four years are considered to be particularly crucial. By 2012 we may be reaching a decision or chaos point beyond which we create a more secure and sustainable global society, or we suffer the consequences of systemic breakdown with social, economic and environmental systems on life support –or worst.
Of course humans have risen to complicated challenges before. The hopeful uplifting vision of the future is that in the two decades or so ahead all of humanity will cease this historical window of opportunity to participate in reinventing the future in shaping a truly life supporting civilization.
Will our hearts open to the ancient voices of wisdom and truth as well as today’s best minds?
Will we have the wisdom and foresight to decisively reorganize ourselves for the benefit to all species, including our own?
We believe it’s possible.
The future is now. Let us be clear, if we each take responsibility and do our part, big positive things will happen. It’s time to catalyze dialogue, accelerate our learning, increase our wisdom, and get actively involved with innovative initiatives in service of a transformative change that will achieve a globally sustainable way of life by 2025.
