The Maya have observed, charted and documented these great eras and transitions throughout history, by observing the cosmos. December 21 2012 - the date that marks the end of one great cycle of the Mayan Calendar, and marking the beginning of the next great cycle of evolution.
The Maya and other great cultures around the world knew of the coming transition of this great era or "age". Today humanity could determine if a new, glorious level of Spiritual growth, would happen this time.
For the first time in history, the collective consciousness of the human race has the chance to break out of Negativity and into the range of Awareness. The ego that has kept humanity small, fearful, and separate will finally fall away, allowing Homo Sapiens to evolve to the next level, Homo Spiritus.
This is amazing, we are the only civilization that has lived on Earth during a great transition with the potential to take us -- humans, and all organic and mineral life to the next stage along the path of evolution. A transition from one great era of evolution to a new greater era of evolution for all life.
The Maya have a Law, "In Lak'ech Ala K'in" which mean I am another yourself. It also means I am you, and you are me. This is a Law of oneness and unity. In theYucatan, they salute each each other with In Lak'ech, and the proper response is Ala Kín or as some people pronounce it as Hal A Ken...is the response, which says the same thing, to your "you are another me" answers "YOU are the other me"
The more you live in "In Lak'ech Ala K'in", the less you will think in terms of our separateness. You will no longer perceive competition, jealousy or envy, hate or any negative emotion between us, because now your perception is that we are pieces of each other. When you live this reality of unity, you begin to experience abundance and wholeness.
The more you walk the Mayan path, the more you will start to understand the depth that In Lak'ech Ala K'in teaches. The greeting. "In Lak'ech" has become a moral code, and a way to create a positive reality for all life.
"In Lak'ech ala K'in" is "The Living Code of the Heart" - is an ancient Mayan greeting that when said with one’s hands cupped over one’s heart is an honoring of each other.
It is a statement of unity and oneness.
In Lak’ech Ala K’in mirrors the same sentiment of other beautiful and heart-felt greetings such as Namasté for East India, Wiracocha for the Inca, and Mitakuye Oyasin for the Lakota or Lakotah of North America.

Once you understand that if you act negatively, your actions impact all life negatively. When you act positively, you affect all life in a positive manner.
