I'm Still Running

I ran from a state which couldn't contain me
To men that I wasn't allowed to keep
From my mother who haunts me
Even brothers gone bye
From my sisters that never sleep
I ran from the noise in the silence
The chatter in the halls
The traffic of the streets
I ran to the forest
Ran to the tree
I ran and I ran
I was looking for me
Sky fits so well here, so I fly
That's what the prophet man said
Mother loves child, don't hold your breath
That's what my future could see
Traveling down this road
Watching the signs as I go
I'll follow the sun
Isn't everyone just traveling
down their own road
Watching the signs as they go?
I'll follow my heart
No 1 place to start
Traveling, Watching,
Watching, Traveling
Dead End
Ground gives way
Beneath my feet
The earth takes me in her arms
Leaves covered my face
Army's marched across my back
The dark night blinding me

I'm still running away...
