The Globalist want the reserves that Haiti has, fundamentally. I have heard rumors that Haiti has vast oil reserves — However, the globalists cannot get the reserves, because the oil belongs to the Haitian people. These very globalists did not allow the Haitians to exploit these oil reserves, because it would have allowed the Haitian people to prosper. Therefore, allowing the Haitians build proper infrastructure, so that a 7.0 earthquakes would not have such a devastating effect.

In the blog Remixx World, the article Haiti Has Huge Resources of Gold and Iridium Says Former Dominican Petroleum Refinery President Leopoldo Espaillat Nanita examines an interesting story that Bill Clinton and George Soros have been recently talking about rebuilding Haiti’s infrastructure and starting business ventures in the country. Nevertheless, it will be interesting to see if the Haitian people are required to sign over their mineral rights in exchange for all this humanitarian aid which has put the Haitians in foreign debt.

There is information to suggest an investigation (into the possibility that HAARP intentionally caused the Haiti earthquake) should occur, rather than just letting a bunch of crazy murdering Zionists be in complete control of such a potentially devastating weapon.

Haiti and the Seismic Weapon

The controversy that followed the publication on our website of an article entertaining the possibility that the earthquake in Haiti was caused artificially, calls for clarification. Yes, seismic weapons do exist and the United States, among others, have them. Yes, the U.S. military forces were pre-positionned to be deployed to the island. These facts are not conclusive in themselves but they certainly warrant heightened scrutiny into this matter.

In publishing "Was the earthquake in Haiti caused by the United States", our purpose was to bring out an issue that is stirring military and media circles in several countries, but which is being ignored in others. What matters here is not to take a stand. In keeping with our approach, though often misunderstood, we maintain that it is impossible to have a good grasp of international relations without studying what the leaders of this planet are thinking.

Prevailing conformity has led to a situation where, while no one is ruffled when we report on contentious issues kindling in Washington, a general outcry is fueled when the controversy stems from a non-aligned country. It would appear that Europeans have a preconceived opinion that only "western" concerns are pertinent while all the others should not be taken seriously.

One of our collaborators attempted to trace the origin of the allegation regarding the possible artificial causes of the earthquake in Haiti. He was concerned that the whole thing might have been a hoax launched by a certain David Booth (alias Sorcha Faal), which then penetrated government circles throughout the world. In the end, we are not sure exactly who is behind the allegation, but what we know for certain is that this issue is being heatedly discussed at the highest level in several countries in Latin America, Eastern Europe and Asia.

As editor-in-chief of Voltaire Network, Thierry Meyssan made the decision to research and translate the dispatch from VivéTv, which had been disseminated as a communiqué on the website of the Communications Ministry of Venezuela, and to publish it together with the related video from Russia Today, preceded by the remark:"

Oddly enough, the Venezuelan channel designates the Russian Army as the source of these claims whereas the Russian channel attributes them to President Chávez."

While these elements were faithfully relayed by numerous newspapers, especially in the Middle East, they were distorted by the Atlanticist media which chose to reflect Sorcha Faal’s article. Faal pulled certain fragments from the VivéTv text, and by adding inverted commas put them into Hugo Chávez’s mouth. What was initially intended as a working hypothesis has been converted into the Government’s position. Some of these media outlets went so far as to completely fabricate the context in which President Chávez expressed himself, pointedly implying that the President and his audience suffer from acute anti-american frenzy and that Voltaire Network shares the same ailment.

But instead of yielding to this manipulation, let us go deeper into this hypothesis.

How much do we know about seismic weapons at present ?

During the Second World War, a group of New Zealand researchers attempted to develop a device capable of provoking tsunamis that could be unleashed against Japan. The research work was conducted by Thomas Leech, an Australian national, at Auckland University behind the code name of "Project Seal". Several small-scale test explosions were carried out successfully, between 1944 and 1945, at Whangaparaoa off the coast of Auckland.

The United States deemed this programme to be as equally promising as the "Manhattan Project", involving the development of the atomic bomb, and appointed Dr. Karl T. Compton to maintain the liaison between the two research units. Compton was an American physicist and president of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology from 1930 to 1948.

The work started by Thomas Leech was pursued during the Cold War. In 1947, King George VI elevated him to the rank of Knight of the British Empire for his role in the elaboration of this new weapon. At the time, Project Seal was still a military secret and it was therefore not disclosed that Thomas Leech had in fact been rewarded for concocting the "tsunami bomb". Subsequently, the US intelligence services covered it up by claiming that the research had never really existed and that the whole thing had been an artifice to impress the Soviets. However, the authenticity of Leech’s tests was established in 1999, when the New Zealand Ministry of Foreign Affairs declassified part of the documentation.

The research studies are officially back on track and taking place at the University of Waikato.

It is not known whether the research undertaken by the Anglo-Saxons continued during the 60’s, but it was resumed by force of circumstances when atmospheric nuclear tests were abandoned in favour of sub-marine tests. The United States were afraid of provoking earthquakes and tsunamis unintentionally. They preferred to learn how to do it intentionally.

Officially, at the end of the Vietnam War, the United States and the Soviet Union gave up environmental wars (earthquakes, tsunamis, environmental balance destabilization, atmospheric modification - clouds, rain, cyclones, tornadoes -, modification of the climate, ocean currents, the ozone layer and the ionosphere) upon signing the 1976 "Convention on the Prohibition of Military or Any Other Hostile Use of Environmental Modification Techniques".

Nevertheless, in 1975, the USSR embarked on a new research, this time in the field of Magnetohydrodynamics (MHD) for the purpose of studying the earth’s crust and be able to anticipate earthquakes. The Soviets examined the possibility of provoking small quakes in order to forestall a big one. This research was quickly militarized and resulted in the construction of Pamir, the earthquake machine.

After the dismemberment of the USSR, those in charge of this programme decided to go to the United States for lure of money, but the Pentagon refused to pay them since their research was incomplete. In 1995, when Russia was governed by Boris Yeltsin and oligarch Viktor Chernomyrdin, the US Air Force recruited the researchers working at their Nizhny Novgorod laboratory. They built a much more powerful machine, Pamir 3, that was tested successfully. At that point, the Pentagon bought the men together with the material and shipped them to the United States, where they were incorporated into the HAARP programme.

Various instances where the seismic weapon might have been employed have been contemplated, especially in Algeria and Turkey. However, the most discussed one is the 12 May 2008 earthquake in Sichuan (China). During the 30 minutes that preceded the earthquake, the inhabitants of the region observed atypical colours in the sky. While some interpreted these events as a sign that the sky was repudiating the Communist Party, others reacted in a more rational way. The same energy used to provoke the earthquake is also likely to have perturbed the ionosphere.

Nothing distinguishes an artificial earthquake from a natural one; this being said, it should be specified that it is possible to induce only superficial earthquakes, like the one in Haiti.

What is particularly disturbing is the reaction of the United States. While the Western media are immersed in a controversy over the violation of Haiti’s sovereignty, the Latin American media are perplexed about the swiftness of GI deployment: as of the first day, more than 10000 soldiers and contractors arrived in Haiti.

This logistical feat can be easily explained since these troops were already pre-positioned in the context of a military exercise. Under the orders of General P.K. Keen, Military Deputy Commander of U.S. Southern Command (USSOUTHCOM), they took part in an excercise simulating a humanitarian operation in Haiti after a hurricane. Keen and his staff had arrived a few days earlier. At the precise moment that the earth shook, they were already sheltered in the US Embassy, built in compliance with anti-earthquake norms; only two men who were not at the Embassy but at the Hotel Montana have been reported injured.

General Keen has granted several interviews to the US media, which has provided ample coverage mainly focusing on the relief operations. While Keen’s presence in Port-au-Prince during the earthquake has been referred to several times, the reasons for his presence were never mentioned.

Among the objectives of the military exercise was the application of a new software enabling the NGOs and the armed forces to coordinate their humanitarian efforts. In the few minutes that followed the catastrophe, the software was put on line and 280 NGOs readily signed up.

It is legitimate to question whether such coincidences are simply due to chance.

What you are seeing here is a "SOLID OBJECT" It's not compression artifacts, pixels or dust.

Below is the official NASA website Astronomy Picture of the Day, on the picture below you can see a sphere passing by the Sun, the sphere is Mercury and it has an uncanny resemblance to the spheres Mr. Joseph Gurman of NASA dismissed as "Compression artifacts, highly magnified".

Explanation: Can you spot the planet? The diminutive disk of Mercury, the solar system's innermost planet, spent about five hours crossing in front of the enormous solar disk on 2003 May 7, as viewed from the general vicinity of planet Earth. The Sun was above the horizon during the entire transit for observers in Europe, Africa, Asia, or Australia, and the horizon was certainly no problem for the sun-staring SOHO spacecraft. Seen as a dark spot, Mercury progresses from left to right (top panel to bottom) in these four images from SOHO's extreme ultraviolet camera. The panels' false-colors correspond to different wavelengths in the extreme ultraviolet which highlight regions above the Sun's visible surface. This was the first of 14 transits of Mercury which will occur during the 21st century, but the next similar event will be a much more rare transit of Venus this coming Tuesday.

Need help spotting Mercury?

When asked for an explanation from Mr. Joseph Gurman at NASA about the spheres/orbs, he states these anomalies are, "Compression artifacts, highly magnified."

That sounds very plausible especially coming from a NASA scientists, one big problem with Mr. Gurman's explanation though, if these spheres are compression artifacts, why then did they only start appearing on the 17th of January this year, they would have been there since the first day SOHO began sending photo's back to Earth!

Unfortunately, a piece of ground hardware at DSN failed, and we're only slowly catching up on data from January 18 onward --- except the lower-resolution (256 x 256 or 512 x 512) beacon mode data."

"The compression artifacts are particularly obvious when a particle (cosmic ray or solar energetic, charged particle) hits the CCD detector on the spacecraft. The compression scheme has a hard time mathematically representing sharp, single or few-pixel features, and you get a characteristic pattern of a bright dot in the middle of a compression block (a subsection of the image) surrounded by a pattern of dark dots."  -- (Dr.) Joseph B. It's interesting to note, The Russians claim their telescope TESIS stopped working on the 18th of January due to a faulty battery, just as NASA claimed SOHO malfunctioned on the same day, Both one day after these spheres showed up! [source]

Alien microbes may also lurk right under our noses. Scientists can hunt for these organisms by looking for the markers of alternative biochemistry.

Davies, an award winning Arizona State University Physicist was back in the news this week asking,

"How do we know all life on Earth descended from a single origin? What will aliens look like if we find them? Will we be meeting life-forms incredibly similar to ourselves? Or will they be the frightful monsters of sci-fi films? How do you break news of alien discoveries to the world without creating wide-spread pandemonium?"

These are just some of the quesitons that were discussed at a two-day conference this past Monday, January 25th, at The Royal Society in London.  The discussion topics were assorted, but mainly it focused on the detection of extraterrestrial life and the consequences for science and society, and is the first to tackle this topic as it's 350 year anniversary rolled around. Astronomers are now able to detect planets orbiting stars other than the Sun where life may exist, and living generations could see the signatures of extra-terrestrial life being detected. Should it turn out that we are not alone in the Universe, it will fundamentally affect how humanity understands itself and we need to be prepared for what will follow.

The Mayan calendar ends on 2012 and there are many who speculate this is a doomsday scenario, which I disagree with. I believe it’s the end of one consciousness, and the awakening of a new consciousness, where we would no longer view time in the same way, therefore the calendar ends and is no longer relevant.

Why is the world the way it is? The world does not really have to be the way it is - it is not predestined, despite the apparent, conventional wisdom view.

Why is there constant war? The warring of religious beliefs, the war against fascism, the cold war, the various interminable regional wars like Vietnam, Korea, the Israel/Palestinian conflict, Bosnia, Sudan, Iraq/Afghanistan, now the ongoing 'war on terror'?

Why, with all the knowledge, wealth and technological advances of science and medicine, is there still demonstrable injustice throughout the world; why are there still millions of people in poverty, ill-health and educational ignorance?

Why is there such a stark and growing disparity in inequality and wealth; multi-billionaires living alongside homeless people and families struggling daily with debt?

Why is the democratic system, now the predominant worldwide ideology, such an authoritarian, hierarchical, elitist system?

Why is the world completely hooked on money, power, mass entertainment, celebrity and status? What has caused all this?

A facile explanation, of course, is that the world is what it is because it is what it is.  It is human nature.

But then the reasonable question to ask is: why is human nature the way it is?

In the technological world, if something goes wrong with your car, for instance, then you immediately set out to determine the cause of the problem. Similarly, if you develop a health problem, the rational and logical approach is, where possible, to determine the cause or seek medical expertise to find this cause so that you can effectively treat it. If one doesn’t take this first simple step one obviously cannot even start to resolve the problem at hand. This is not rocket science.

In the psychological realm however, this first principle, astonishingly, simply does not apply.

Take war as an example. Military conflict is universally regarded as an inevitable activity of man. There are very few people in the world who reject war per se. We adopt a consensual view on this and all other basic subjects. There is great safety in thinking in groups; there are very few people who think (so-called) ‘outside the box’ - which in the actual scheme of things is not thinking outside the group at all, when you really look at it, it’s just an attempt at minor reform around the edges.

Wars are cleverly justified for a range of reasons, which usually boil down in one way or another to ‘national security,’ which is simply individual security on a national scale. As far as its ultimate origins or root cause is concerned, many reasons are put forward as explanations - political, nationalistic, religious, economic reasons. But all these issues themselves have a first cause, yet this first cause is not even discussed by the individual, media organizations, or the public, let alone investigated in depth. It is obvious that the political, economic and religious structures of the world are put together entirely by the human mind. It is the mind that is behind all our actions, which on a relationship level brings on conflict and anger, and on a social, national and global scale brings about war.

Take also climate change. The thrust of current, majority scientific thought states it is caused by human activity (which still has not been definitively proven) - so what is the main cause of that? Obviously, the bulk of CO2 emissions come from the oil and coal industry -- oil is the most profitable business in the world, with a strong historical connection to the coal industry. (The largest oil company, ExxonMobil, is also the world's largest, most profitable, publicly traded corporation.) These global industries, which have over-exploited the Earth’s natural resources, now prop up the entire economic system as it stands at the expense of viable, sustainable, renewable energy resources - solar, wind and geothermal power, amongst others; all this is part of a system of sustainable ecology. (Even if human-caused climate change is incorrect, the fact of rampant exploitation of the world's resources for private profit still stands.) These renewable ecological resources only require policy priority from politicians and businessmen to become the new world standard.

This whole capitalistic system, which underpins all democracies throughout the world, is founded on incentive, which in its essentials amounts to the reward and punishment system upon which society is based. Without sufficient incentive, there is no consequent drive by people to create, to succeed, to build, to reform, and to change. This drive is aggressive and ultimately ruinous competition, both between individuals and between nations. Nothing is done because it is intrinsically right to do it; competitive action is taken only when there is sufficient reward at the end. In democracy, currently the world’s ruling ideology, this incentive is called private profit, and it rules everything, along with the 'National Interest,' which is the never-ending search for state security that doesn't exist.

This overarching private profit principle has demonstrably proved to be vastly inequitable. Capitalism as a social system is essentially founded on comparison, as well as rank exploitation of both human beings and nature. There will always be some more clever at competing and exploiting people than others, more motivated to succeed, more intellectually adept, so social inequity is inevitable if the overarching principle of personal gain rules. Self-interest is, of course, the primary activity of the self, which knows no other way.

This competitive drive for 'progress' and profit is simply human greed, but greed is a subject that is best avoided in polite company. It is a given. So you cannot say that the entire society is founded on greed and fear. The word is cleverly disguised by euphemisms, such as the stock market term previously in vogue: ‘irrational exuberance’.

Now of course, the results of that greed and fear are to be plainly seen in the current financial ructions, where the lender of last resort - the taxpayer - has to step in to save the financial system from the greed of the bankers and businessmen, in their race for ever greater private profit, at the expense of the sustainability of the overall human race.

In fact, society as a whole regards greed as good: it is the great motivator, the enemy to indolence, poverty and stagnation, as exemplified by the following, portrayed prominently in popular culture, now subtly imbedded in the zeitgeist:

"The point is, ladies and gentleman, that greed -- for lack of a better word -- is good.

Greed is right. Greed works. Greed clarifies, cuts through, and captures the essence of the evolutionary spirit. Greed, in all of its forms -- greed for life, for money, for love, knowledge -- has marked the upward surge of mankind."

These are, of course, the noted lines from the 1987 movie: Wall Street. Although the film itself is fiction, this passage was derived from an actual speech given by the noted 1980s Wall Street arbitrageur, Ivan Boesky, in which he extolled the role of greed in society.

Like the poor, as the biblical saying goes, greed has always been with us and will always be with us, it is the accepted norm. Being slaves to the ‘herd instinct’ and dutifully conforming to group-think, we condone and justify this greed and the social mores behind it; we accept it uncritically, mostly without even thinking. This mindset blocks any meaningful investigation into possible change in the first instance.

Greed in fact is the underlying principle behind Adam Smith's "hidden hand":

the notion that individual self-interest in commerce will be to the overall benefit of society as a whole. This whole treatise, the pre-eminent work even today of all economics, thus condones greed as the beneficial underpinning of all social activity arising from business.

Hence a major philosopher has laid out the accepted foundation stone of selfishness and inequality as the paradigm for the following generations of the human race.

This greed now threatens the entire global, financial, economic system of free enterprise.

Likewise, tradition and experience tells us that the human mind cannot be changed, it was ever thus and it will ever be. There are apparent properties, faculties, traits of the human mind that appear completely intrinsic to it. The term we have for this is, again, human nature. Everyone knows, or assumes, or has been told, or has concluded, that you can’t change human nature. Our parents, our teachers, our peers and our social authorities have all told us this in so many ways; it is an immutable, inviolable reality of life.

It’s a given, it is what it is. That’s why when someone comes along and talks for sixty years about changing our very basic ‘human nature’, which includes radically changing all of society, an inbuilt suspicion subtly arises in our minds. This goes against everything we have been brought up to believe in; it is to our minds, as we term it, ‘counter-intuitive’.

Pointedly, there are very few people in the world who actually see that the present society is corrupt and failing, so why change something that is basically functioning correctly, with only a few outstanding problems at the margins?

Moreover, the man had an intention to free everyone from their conditioning, to thus change the world. This made us even more suspicious, skeptical.

Is this deeply ingrained and apparently innate skepticism the first cause to the impediment to actual listening? That is, have we ever actually listened to the talks of this man, without any conclusions, choice, or mindset whatsoever? Or have we been distracted by the knee-jerk reactions and desires of thought, of the "me," based entirely on our memories and experiences of the past?

So then, what is the first cause - that is, the root cause, not an incidental cause - behind all these global issues and all of humanity's problems?

Thought.

The thought that has invented everything: from gods, to religions, philosophies, beliefs, theories, superstitions, stories, illusions, fairytales and myths.

It’s special, grand narrative invention - the supreme idea of the separate self.

Several months ago, CNN published the results of a couple of disturbing polls about Americans and their religious beliefs. The first found that more Americans are rejecting religion and thus, according to CNN, America is becoming “less Christian.” The second, a Pew survey of only 742 mostly white evangelical Protestants, revealed that more than six in 10 of them believe that torture is often or sometimes justified.

More than six in 10? What this says about those claiming to be God’s own is that perhaps they should use their Bibles for more than “thumping.” Because not one in 10 -- not one in 10 thousand -- not one in 10 million -- Christians believes that torture can ever be justified. Ever.

Anyone who has paid attention to the growing number of evangelical zealots over the past couple of decades must be aware that there is a growing chasm between Religion and Christianity. Today, the term, “religious Christians” is nothing if not oxymoronic. It seems when folks become apocalyptic frothing-at-the-mouth religious, they ultimately stray from the light and life of Christianity, while descending deeper into the darkness and death of Religion.

Because, all religion is politics. CNN quoted Mark Silk of Trinity College, who said, “In the 1990s, it really sunk in on the American public generally that there was a long-lasting ‘religious right’ connected to a political party, and that turned a lot of people the other way.” Silk cited the obvious link between the Republican Party and groups such as the Moral Majority and Focus on the Family.

Tony Perkins, the right-wing evangelical president of the Family Research Council, told CNN not to worry. He said people will return to their faith in droves; that soon, the decline will ease and religion will be an even greater part of people’s lives. The good news, according to Perkins, is, “As the economy goes downward, I think people are going to be driven to religion.” (emphasis added)

Yes, as more Americans lose their jobs, their homes, their very reasons for living, those like Perkins see them as Manchurian congregations -- flocks driven to religion like cattle -- bawling, shuffling, pushing, milling around with tags in their ears, looking for a leader. Even now, they can be seen in mammoth mega-churches, some with arms raised -- fists clutching at dead air -- others writhing in the aisles, moaning, begging for some “sign” from their rigidly religious God. Perhaps their panic stems from the instinctive knowledge that God, unable to get a word in edgewise, has left the building.

The conservative religious right is a frightening political force driven in its efforts to divide and conquer by greed, an insatiable lust for power, and an ideology of hate. Its members, unable to drag God down to their level, have no qualms about elevating themselves to what they perceive as His level. They succeed in controlling the flock because fear -- especially fear of God -- is a great motivator. They use God not only as a weapon against millions who stand between them and their goals of replacing democracy with theocracy and of controlling the world’s resources and its people, but as a divine justification for the destruction they leave in their wake.

No one was more adept at giving God credit for his killing fields than former President George W. Bush, who openly bragged that God had hired him to remove evil from the face of the earth. “I trust God speaks through me,” Bush said in 2004. “Without that, I couldn’t do my job.” And, even before that, in 2003, Bush tried to round up a “coalition of the willing” for his Iraq slaughter on God’s behalf. According to Charleston Gazette editor James A. Haught, Bush told then French President Jacques Chirac that “Iraq must be invaded to thwart Gog and Magog, the Bible’s satanic agents of the Apocalypse.”

Haught wrote “Chirac recounts that the American leader appealed to their ‘common faith’ (Christianity) and told him: ‘Gog and Magog are at work in the Middle East . . . The biblical prophecies are being fulfilled . . . This confrontation is willed by God, who wants to use this conflict to erase his people’s enemies before a New Age begins.’”

But some presidents, such as Lyndon Johnson, were not so magnanimous. God got the blame, not the credit, for the Vietnam atrocity. Ronnie Dugger, in his book, “The Politician: The Life and Times of Lyndon Johnson,” writes that Johnson told Austrian Ambassador Ernst Lemberter in 1966 that the Holy Ghost regularly visited him . . .”He comes to me about 2 o’clock in the morning,” Johnson said, “--when I have to give word to the boys, and I get the word from God whether to bomb or not.”

Now, you don’t have to be a Christian to reject the right-wing bull hockey that the God who appeared in a blinding flash of light and spoke to Paul on the road to Damascus has sunk to the evangelical depths where He emits not even a glimmer as He bends our presidents’ ears on whom to slaughter, urges televangelist Pat Robertson to ask a woman about her sex life, and is still deciding if He wants Michelle Bachman or Sarah Palin to be president.

Christians should be lauded for rejecting modern-day Religion. When the God they are taught to love is either credited -- or blamed -- for all hell on earth; when they search in vain for Jesus, and finally find Him, hanging out in a secretive townhouse on Washington’s C Street with the greedy, war-mongering gang who refer to themselves as “The Family,” it’s time to take a second look at the direction in which this nation is hurtling.

For years, conservative right-wingers have hidden out in the C Street “church,” where they are free to conduct all manner of fraud and to carry on adulterous affairs. People who have sold their souls; who have no sense of morality, and who use God as a Trojan Horse to hide their political manipulations to replace both Democrats and Democracy are quite mad, you know. Right-wing evangelicals and neocon operatives are consumed with religious hate, not Christian love. Their modus operandi is, as Weekly Standard operative William Kristol said, “go for the kill.”

And, those who are familiar with Kristol know he wasn’t referring just to health care. Pat Robertson’s Christian Coalition protege, the now disgraced Ralph Reed, dubbed in 1995 by Time magazine as “the right hand of God,” was a master at evangelical politics, which he said was like Viet Cong-style guerrilla warfare. Reed said, “I want to be invisible. I do guerrilla warfare. I paint my face and travel at night. You don’t know it’s over until you’re in a body bag. You don’t know until election night.”

Anyone doubting the viciousness with which Reed would “go for the kill” should have a talk with Vietnam War hero and amputee Max Cleland, who not only found himself crammed into a body bag on election night 2002, thanks to Ralph Reed, but was in there with Saddam Hussein and Osama bin Laden.

But Reed and others are tyros when it comes to those most likely to cause Christians to reject religion -- those whom CNN failed to mention who incite violence by preaching sermons laced with politics, religion, racism and hate. Those like Tempe, Arizona’s Steven Anderson, who has no college degree nor formal Bible training, but is qualified to preach because he “has memorized almost half of the New Testament.”

Anderson started his own church -- Faithful Word Baptist -- in 2005 on Christmas Day. A fiery right-wing preacher, he’s against homosexuality, liberalism and President Barack Obama.

In August, Anderson gave a breathtakingly vile speech, entitled “Why I Hate Obama,” in which he said about President Obama, among many other things . . .

“Obama is a madman in control of this country.”

“Obama is NOT my president.”

“Obama mocks the Bible.”

“Obama is a socialist devil murderer.”

“I hope he dies and goes to hell.”

“God looks down and says, ‘Man -- I HATE that guy!’”

Anderson and those like him epitomize the breach between Religion and Christianity. The religious believe that God belongs to them. Christians know that they belong to God. It’s that simple. Thus, CNN polls notwithstanding, America cannot become “less Christian” as a result of members of the flock jerking the tags from their ears and rejecting modern-day religion.

With due respect to the General, we access, your assessments have been asinine. As if 9-11 and Katrina wasn’t practice enough, the U.S military reaction was practiced and planned out in advance for Haiti the day before of the quake, and practice was far from perfect.

In light of the United States government SOUTHCOM and the Defense Department’s European Command, ”preparing for a test of the system in a scenario that involved providing relief to Haiti in the wake of a hurricane. SOUTHCOM was practicing and running emergency relief drills for a catastrophic event in Haiti the day before the earthquake hit on January 12, 2010. Why not practice a hurricane drill on a U.S. territory like Puerto Rico?

In another coincidence, Air Force Maj. Ken Bourland 37, had flown into Haiti from the Dominican Republic the morning of the earthquake with Lt. Gen. Ken Keen, deputy director of U.S. Southern Command with five other members of U.S. Southern Command. All five, also staying in the Montana hotel except Bourland escaped. Keen, outside the hotel at the time of the earthquake, is now overseeing U.S. military aid as commander of Joint Task Force Haiti. [read more]

Yes, the deputy director of the U.S. Southern Command travelled from the DR to Haiti the morning of the quake! In operation BIOWARFARE EXCERCISE TRIPOD II, Mayor Giuliani knew when to leave WTC 7 because he got advanced warning that the Trade Towers were about to collapse. “We were operating out of there when we were told that the World Trade Center was gonna collapse,” Rudolph Giuliani told Peter Jennings of ABC News. How did Giuliani know the towers were about to collapse? Was Lt. Gen. Ken Keen, deputy director of U.S. Southern Command warned in advance of the coming disaster?

On the days after the earthquake, we wonder if NORAD was expecting some sort of a retaliatory reaction to the conspiracy that a man-made weapon caused the quake. [read more]

The Heritage Foundation said on the day after the quake, "Today, the United States began surveying the damage inflicted by a devastating earthquake in Haiti this week." In addition to providing immediate humanitarian assistance, the U.S. response to the tragic earthquake should address long-held concerns over the fragile political environment that exists in the region….The U.S. should implement a strong and vigorous public diplomacy effort to counter the negative propaganda certain to emanate from the Castro-Chavez camp. Such an effort will also demonstrate that the U.S.’s involvement in the Caribbean remains a powerful force for good in the Americas and around the globe.

If it was propaganda President Obama wanted, he sure got his monies worth, but so far the "display of a powerful force for good,” is far from what has happened. Supposedly, "At the request of the Haitian government, the U.S. continues to coordinate America’s relief efforts with the United Nations and the international community.” I’d like to see that video tape or transcript from the Haitian government. President Obama said in a Newsweek editorial authored by him at I have ordered a swift, coordinated, and aggressive effort to save lives in Haiti. We have launched one of the largest relief efforts in recent history. I have instructed the leaders of all agencies to make our response a top priority across the federal government. We are mobilizing every element of our national capacity: the resources of development agencies, the strength of our armed forces, and most important, the compassion of the American people.

And by the way, 5 warships, 10,000 troops, etc. Even the French minister in charge of humanitarian relief called on the UN to “clarify” the American role amid claims the military build up was hampering aid efforts.

In the meantime, MINUSTAH, the United Nations Stabilization Mission’s 9000 troops already in Haiti, have not been seen in action in news reports.

"Seven days after the quake, “The Security Council today backed Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon’s call to increase the overall force levels of the United Nations peacekeeping mission in Haiti to support the immediate recovery, reconstruction and stability efforts following last weeks devastating earthquake.

Following his visit on Sunday to the capital, Port-au-Prince, Mr. Ban asked the Council for an additional 1,500 police officers and 2,000 troops to reinforce the mission, known as MINUSTAH, to augment its 9,000 uniformed personnel already on the ground.

The Council, in unanimously adopting resolution 1908, decided that MINUSTAH will consist of a military component of up to 8,940 troops of all ranks and of a police component of up to 3,711 police, and that it will keep the new force levels under review as necessary."

With regard to troops:

"Nicaraguan President Daniel Ortega says that the United States has taken advantage of the massive quake in Haiti and deployed troops in the country. “What is happening in Haiti seriously concerns me as US troops have already taken control of the airport,” Ortega said on Saturday. The Pentagon says it has deployed more than 10,000 soldiers in Haiti to help victims of Tuesday’s earthquake. This is while US paratroopers from the 82nd Airborne Division took control of the main airport in the capital Port-au-Prince on Friday three days after a 7.0 magnitude earthquake brought death and misery to the impoverished nation….”There is no logic that US troops landed in Haiti. Haiti seeks humanitarian aid, not troops. It would be madness we all began to send troops to Haiti,” said Ortega. [read more]

Thousands are dead and thousands await a simple drink of water, yet Cooper Vanderbilt looks to have been clean shaven and showered everyday. The general population is barely shown on TV. By the accounts of other reporters on the scene there is little evidence of violence, yet we have reports of nearly 20,000 U.S and U.N troops ready to keep the peace and take over the airports.

We suppose when you haven’t had food or water for days, there is little energy to riot when you are dying. Is that the plan in the long run, to allow the Haitians to nearly starve so they will be compliant for occupation again? [source]
