It is time to take action, and take the destiny of our world into our own hands!

There has been some confusion spinning across the internet regarding the exact time of solstice, at the end of the Mayan 5125 year cycle, on December 21st.

One thing to keep in mind, the Mayas did not use a Gregorian calendar, as we use today. The most common mistake is to refer 11:11 as AM or PM.

Neither are right.

The 11:11 is recorded as Universal Time Coordinated (UTC) for the 2012 Winter Solstice.

Universal Time Coordinated(UTC) is the international time standard. It is the current term for what was commonly referred to as Greenwich Meridian Time (GMT). Zero (0) hours UTC is midnight in Greenwich England, which lies on the zero longitudinal meridian. Universal time is based on a 24 hour clock, therefore, afternoon hours such as 4 pm UTC are expressed as 16:00 UTC (sixteen hours, zero minutes).

The Greenwich Meridian (Prime Meridian or Longitude Zero degrees) marks the starting point of every time zone in the World. GMT is Greenwich Mean (or Meridian) Time is the mean (average) time that the earth takes to rotate from noon-to-noon. Greenwich Mean Time is international time, the basis of the world time clock. GMT marks precision time and military time (sometimes called Zulu Time). Defines date and time and the exact time.

Although GMT has been replaced by atomic time (UTC) it is still widely regarded as the correct time for every international time zone. The atomic time clock is adjusted by leap seconds to maintain synchronicity with GMT.

This is an major historical event, and you've got to understand how significant this is. For the first time in our history we will have the chance to create our own destiny as free citizens of the Earth.

You can see the changes already, throughout the world. People are no longer tolerating ignorance. People are awakening and becoming enlightened to the reality of this paradigm.

We are arising from the Illusion of the old paradigm, and ascending into a new paradigm.

On December 18th our physical Sun conjoined with the Galactic Central Sun. This conjunction sent a powerful flash of energy through our solar system.

What is more interesting is that CERN is doing major particle experiments during this time, which would lend to the mutual awareness of this special time. Lots of particles of energy from the central Sun will be reaching the Earth.

Now if we all step up and see the view from an Astrological standpoint. During December 2012 a Yod configuration (Finger of God) will be formed having Jupiter as focal point and Saturn and Pluto as supporting planets. An Yod is a configuration where two planets are 150 degrees apart from a third one and between them there are 60 degrees.

In May of 1989 Jupiter was still the focal point but Pluto was in Scorpio and Saturn in Capricorn. Which means Saturn and Pluto have switch places.

In 1989 the Yod took place on 13th degree while in 2012 will be on 8th degree.

Is there any other significance to this event? Well, if you take a step back and look at it from a yet, another perspective; a political viewpoint that is.

Think back and remember 1989 it was a major year for world politics:

It was the end of the Cold War
It was the end of Communism regime in Eastern Europe.
There was the Tiananmen Square protests.

1989 meant the challenge of political power that separated the world between the communist and capitalist regimes. At that time the two planets at the bottom of the configuration (Saturn and Pluto) were in their own signs, therefore very strong by themselves and also very different to each other – just as the capitalism and the communism were.

2012 will be different: the communist countries have turned to capitalism and the capitalist countries suffered globalization. The astrological configuration expresses this situation by the mutual reception between Saturn and Pluto, each one in weak situation (out of signs they control). So is the globalized world we live in: west and east cannot live apart anymore, economic exchanges are what make the world still function (as in the word Chinamerica).

What will happen in 2012? First off, it is interesting to see that even this way of functioning will be challenged by crisis already. I mean: the communist / capitalist game was played for 50 years before being challenged, now we see the new organization of the world being challenged after only 13 years ? Why the hurry ?

Interestingly enough, is in the name itself; Finger of God; a powerful conduit of energy, or a deeply-felt block, in the direction of the quincunxed planet. The focal planet is pulling in an opposite direction from the other two in a harmonious sextile producing unusual changes in ones consciousness.

One possible approach is for an individual to view the yod as an exchange of positive forces around a mediating middle (though oppositional) planet. The quincunxed planet will either act as a conduit of energy, or as a profound and deeply-felt block with a heightened direction of energy.

The midpoint of the sextile is also a very sensitive point, as transiting planets, when conjunct with this midpoint, will then be in opposition to the quincunxed planet.

This situation is said to trigger major events, thus revealing the true power of the yod.

I see it as a dynamic route of energy which is static until something else squares, opposes, or conjoins one of its bodies or midpoints, to temporarily kick it out of stasis.
