Individual Interpretation - Mayan Calendar

Here we are in 2010, the future of the past, and two years away from our supposed fate 2012. The fate of humanity has been prophesized by individualized interpretation.

If you are like me, then you have researched the theories, watched all the documentaries and films, and probably have come up with a theory that resonates within your own intuition.

If you ask most people, they all tend to agree that the world is going to end on December 21st, 2012. When you question these people as to where they get this information, the ignorance flows out....  "all over the internet,” one persons says, and another says, “didn’t you see the movie?”

These same people have not stopped planning their careers, they are all out there buying homes, not once thinking about how they should spend the last years of their lives. Right?  I mean you only have a couple of years.

Let’s put ignorance aside, and approach this from a wider perspective.

Yes, the world is going to end in some way, shape or form. Change is constant, the signal of rebirth, like the egg of the Phoenix.

We've all heard these doomsday predictions before, we're still here, and the planet is still here, why is 2012 so important?  Well, the Mayan calendar stops at the end of the year 2012, churning up all sorts of religious, scientific, astrological and historic reasons why this calendar foretells the end of life as we know it.

It used to be Nostradamus, then it was the Y2K bug, then it was the economy. Oh yeah, let’s not forget about Planet X makings its big comeback. Apparently, Planet X (a.k.a. Nibiru) was spotted by astronomers in the early 1980's in the outermost reaches of the Solar System. It has been tracked by infared observatories; seen lurking around in the Kuiper Belt and now it is speeding right toward us and will enter the inner Solar System in 2012.

So what does this mean to us?

Some folks believe that the approach of Planet X on our planet will be biblical, and what's more the effects are being felt right now. Global warming has increased; earthquakes, drought, famine, wars, social collapse, even killer solar flares will be caused by Nibiru blasting through the core of our Solar System.

All of this will happen in 2012, and we must begin preparing for our demise right now… Millions, even billions of people will die.

As investigated in the article "No Doomsday in 2012," a lot of weight had been placed on the end of an ancient Mayan calendar, the "Long Count".  According to this calendar and Mayan myth, something is going to happen on December 21st, 2012.  Now the world's Planet X supporters seem to have calculated that this hypothetical, deadly planet will arrive from a highly eccentric orbit to wreak gravitational havoc on Earth, sparking geological, social, economic and environmental damage, killing a high proportion of life… in 2012. Let’s think about this together…what could really happen?

It's just another year.

Reality will continue on with the usual dramas, as we evolve into understanding its bipolar nature and how the patterns of our behavior are created by genetic predisposition and social conditioning. More medications/meditations, questing and searching... The joy of the journey isn't in the result, but in the search itself - but what are you searching for?

Reality will shift to a higher (harmonic) dimension, ego identities remaining intact, and all will get to experience a world in harmony and balance - love and light.

Certain souls, who feel they are leaving here now, will return to light, while the rest remain physical.

The hologram we exist/experience in will cease to exist, all returns to light, souls taking with them their experiences and wisdom, moving into something else, but without their ego identity from this experience.

You are aware that closure has already happened, you are not actually relating to anything here, but your soul wants to replay the ending for the high/rush/thrill of it - one more time on the roller coaster as they say ... knowing the outcome, as if your watching a movie you really enjoyed over and over.

Does the Mayan Calendar actually prophesize that the world is going to end in some horrible event on December 21, 2012?

According to Carl Johan Calleman’s book, The Mayan Calendar and the Transformation of Consciousness, the answer is no. It is our consciousness that will evolve, as with every creature on this planet. Evolution is constant, and it’s only a matter of time, that us humans will evolve to a new consciousness and awareness.

This is happening now, and some of us have awakened to this awareness.

The significance the classic Maya gave the December 21, 2012 date remains uncertain along with other enigmatic predictions left behind by prophets through the ages. Most classic Maya inscriptions are strictly historical prophetic declarations based on subjective interpretations. The 2012 phenomenon comprises a range of beliefs and proposals positing that cataclysmic or transformative events will occur in the year 2012 culminating on the winter solstice December 21, 2012.

This forecast is based primarily on what is said to be the end-date of the Mayan Calendar, which is presented as lasting 5,125 years.  Arguments supporting this dating are drawn from a mixture of archaeoastronomical speculation, alternative interpretations of mythology, numerological constructions, and alleged prophecies from extraterrestrial beings.

A metaphysical interpretation of this transition posits that, during this time, the planet and its inhabitants may undergo a positive physical or spiritual transformation, 2012 marking the beginning of a new era of consciousness experience.

We all agree that this has been a year of great changes on the planet with natural disasters accelerating exponentially and a shift of consciousness being felt by most people who wonder where it will all go.

Some are becoming more fearful, while others are allowing events to play out as guided.

Time is an illusion, so exact dates don't apply and tend to be wrong. Prophecies throughout history have named this as the end of time, citing science and pseudoscience as a basis for their conclusions. 

Everything about the events of December 21, 2012 is up for conjecture, personal interpretation and consists of a long line of theories that make sense to those who present them.

What is true and what is false will be determined on, or before, that date.

Consciousness is shifting on all levels, which cannot be denied. Spiritually this is a movement into higher consciousness. To examine the accelerating physical Earth changes and consciousness of humanity, recognizing and healing its issues, is to understand this evolutionary process and what is occurring. There are many factors linked to December 21, 2012 back into light, from which the human biogenetic came.

The best barometer for you is your own intuition, which will allow you to sense great changes within and great changes around you.

The Astrobiology Science Conference 2010

(AbSciCon 2010) is finishing up today after a week long series of meetings organized by the astrobiology community.

Scientists from all over the world who are working in the multidisciplinary field of astrobiology — the study of the origin, evolution, distribution, and future of life in the universe are reporting on research findings and plan future endeavors.

Evolution of Life

Is this years "Theme" for AbSciCon 2010 , and is focusing on surviving catastrophes and extremes on Earth and beyond.  The conference will address, among other things, how environmental, chemical, biological, physical, and even social stresses, ranging in scale from the infinitesimal to the catastrophic, affect the pace and course of evolutionary change.

Astrobiology examines stress, stasis, and change from the cosmic to the molecular level, and start to tackle the questions:

What is necessary for life, and where does it come from?

How do habitable environments develop and change?

How does life begin and evolve?

How does life accommodate environmental change, and vice versa?

Can change be engineered, and should it?

These are some of the questions that were to be addressed at this conference.The purpose of this conference is to provide a forum for reporting on new discoveries, sharing data and insights, advancing collaborative efforts and initiating new ones, planning new projects, and educating the next generation of astrobiologists. The conference will feature plenary sessions on current and controversial topics, topical sessions, evening programs, and public events.

The scientific search our in the universe has been ongoing and there is no end in sight. There are 2,000 plus Earth observatories, and hundreds of space missions and satellite launches; yet no government has come forward to claim they have found life in the galaxy. If and when the do, NASA has declared itself to be our planetary protectors.

Any published articles or reports from the conference should make for an interesting read.  No doubt, the leading astrobiologists are proving that there is in fact, justification in the expectation that science will be advanced. The Enduring Myth of Leadership

Society runs on greed, envy, and fear - at no time has this shown to be more true than in the current financial turmoil in the U.S., which has rippled throughout the world. Even if the issue is ostensibly resolved with a taxpayer bailout, the underlying psychological problems remain, principally self-interest.

Capitalism itself, founded on the principle of private gain and private profit, is under threat as the ruling global ideology. It is based primarily on debt, the illusory notion that borrowed money will always create more money in the long run. This debt, however, is masked in other terms, such as leveraging, and risk management. All major corporations and financial institutions run on it, as the accumulation of debt is favored by the tax systems in various countries. In other words, corporations have a tax incentive in acquiring more debt. And debt itself is the essence of greed, as it is a demand for something now rather than prudently saving for it in the future. This greed is the essence of the self. Hence, the total U.S. National Debt alone has been described as a time bomb yet to explode. (This accumulated debt is a simple result of national spending exceeding revenue, which is personal debt on a national scale.) The debt-laden bailouts occurring on a global basis are a demonstration yet again of that old capitalist principle: 'Privatize the profits and socialize the losses.' This stark division of wealth perpetuates inequality and injustice, thus promoting underlying tensions that undermine the stability of the world economic system in the long run.

If ever the global society has been threatened it is now.  America is facing future bankruptcy. All the current and former leaders in economics, banking and politics have directly brought this situation about - along with the public and their insistent demands for credit to fund their avaricious consumer lifestyles - yet people will still not examine the nature of greed and the makeup of the self that is the first cause of the problem.

Instead, they put total reliance on authority to correct the problem, rather than accepting personal responsibility.

The financial problems of the world - like all societal issues - are a two-way street. You cannot sheet home the blame only to the authorities, as mentioned, as the public as a whole supports and sanctions these authorities and their public policies. If the public did not, they would demand change to the system, and beyond the occasional failed revolution (which simply replaced one inequitable social system for another) the public as a whole has never demanded wholesale changes to the current system, as they have a vested interest in it.

Thus, history shows that no deep change ever takes place, only a continuous process of minor reform - which changes nothing in the end as the primary causes of social ills are never tackled.. The primary public demand is for security, which is the continuation of the status quo. This is the mindset that says that deep change in society - in the social order and political authority - is a dangerous thing, which would bring on public insecurity. It is the self that is always seeking security, in one form or another.

This entire social system that seeks national security (of the nation-state, not of the world itself) is the self writ large.

There are no leaders who can help us. History proves it. If you examine closely all the U.S. and world leaders and their personalities, from Bill Clinton to George W. Bush to Richard Nixon and Winston Churchill, they are all just like us - deeply flawed, power-seeking and self-centered. They act through great conflicts of interest, although this is always officially denied. And they get into power solely because of others, the compliant, docile voters. Remove their positional authority and titles and no leaders are either needed or required.

We are our own leaders.

It is remarkable how people see the foibles and corruption of their past and present leaders but are eternally hopeful that the next batch will somehow be different; that they will in some way solve all the problems inherent in society. This is especially so when the next possible leader is perceived to embrace social change, or reform, which is no more than minor change at the margins - as in the case of the new U.S. president, Barack Obama. It is because of the public's strong desire for their new leaders to exert authority, leadership and drive for change that they lose the capacity of detached reason and discernment, the ability to see the actual person before them, instead of a projected and idealized image.

Perhaps the greatest attraction of the public towards political leaders is their power of oratory, which is a major factor now with the U.S. president. He deliberately panders to the audience, giving them what they want to hear, as in the tradition of the great charismatic leaders of the past. If you look closely, however, you will observe that these are only empty words - mere rhetoric - and there is nothing substantial behind them. Indeed, the political leader will lie and distort with abandon, and without remorse - justifying everything under the rubric of National Security. The carefully polished phrases they have rehearsed are in fact used as a mask to disguise the fact that there is no creativity/originality in the speaker. He or she is only dressing up for new audiences stale ideas and regurgitated reforms that have all been tried - and failed - in the past. When this dawns on the public, there is a shift to the opposing party, and the whole process thus repeats itself.

Nothing of eternal value has been learned from this past - a notorious and powerful orator of the 20th century in Germany was a tyrant and a megalomaniac. When these lessons are not learned the problems at the core of them repeat themselves in new crises - the current major loss of confidence in the financial system is a case in point. This is because the underlying issues of greed, fear and self-absorption are not faced and resolved. This endemic selfishness blinds people to rational behaviour. They then ignore both the past lessons and all the warnings that are issued before the crisis actually occurs, which is the case in this current situation. And the entire mainstream media in all its forms is complicit in this wilful ignorance, as all the media barons go along for the profitable ride. The herd mentality is a very powerful one - the self is basically an imitator.

So, the public then looks to other leaders to lead them out of the morass, only to have the whole cycle repeat itself again and again, down the road. This desire for leaders to lead, this insistent demand for authority figures, has produced this corrupt, deceitful, superficial and threatened society. [source]

Speak up, speak out, speak openly, speak forcefully, speak loudly, and speak proudly with courage and strength. Speak decently, with good manners, respecting other people. If we want people to listen, and respond well to us, then we must not be disruptive or inappropriate when communicating. It is in our constitutional right of free speech that we have the power to save America. 

This is an evolution of solidarity for a new era, protecting people and planet from the selfish corruption of Greed and Evil.

The workers are burdened by carrying the weight of the useless, excessively rich, on our shoulders. Those who can must do and that which needs to be done we must do.

11:11 Coincidence?

Some of my readers know a bit more about me  than others.  You know that I live somewhat ‘outside the box'.   I stepped out of the ‘construct’ created by society, and walked away from all its vulgarities, and with that left time far behind. 

In other words, I do not base my life around time. I try and stay away from things that rely on time. I go to bed when I’m tired, and I eat when I’m hungry. I have been living a without clocks for a few years now.

Now with my roommate, things are different, everything revolves around the time.  What time his favorite TV show comes one, what time he takes his medications, what time he eats, what time he goes to his doctors appointments, what time he gets up, and what time he goes to sleep. 

He occupies one side of the house, and he has a collection of digital clocks. So if I’m passing through to the kitchen I have pass several clocks; a clock in the living room atop the television, and then there is a digital clock on the stove, and one on the microwave, and then when going back to my room, I have to pass a final wind up clock on the armoire.

I recall experiencing the 11:11 phenomena years ago, but over the past month it seems to have intensified, or I have been paying more attention to it.  More noticeable, over the past week.  On my way to the kitchen, I stopped in the living room and chatted with my roommate, and noticed the clock said 11:11.  I immediately turned and walked in the kitchen to my surprise, both clocks were 11:11.  I don’t think I’ve ever noticed all the clocks having the exact time, they are usually off by a minute or two. I also remember thinking on each occasion that what a coincidence that I happen to walk out of my room at this particular instance. I’d say it has happened about 4 times I can remember during this past 3 ½ weeks.

I remember trying to explain this to my roommate, but soon after I would forget about it.  Now this past week, it happened twice, and what really grabbed my attention is that, we have had two power outages within the week, which usually throws the clocks out of sequence with each other and all need to be reset, but this particular week they didn’t, and this is the very week that the incidents intensified.

My understanding is that whoever has constant contact with the 11:11 phenomena  may have some type of a positive mission to accomplish.  Some feel that it is immensely positive, almost like there is a thinking entity sending messages, via physical and visual signs from the universe.

It is believed that when this happens, it activates the power of intention.

String theory is said to be the theory of everything. It is a way of describing every force and matter regardless of how large or small or weak or strong it is. The first eleven that was noticed is that string theory has to have 11 parallel universes.

11 Phenomena

Brian Greene has 11 letters in his name. For those of you who do not know, he is a physicist as well as the author of The Elegant Universe, which is a book explaining string theory.

Another interesting find is that Isaac Newton (who's ideas kicked off string theory many years later) has 11 letters in his name.

John Schwarz was one of the two men who worked out the anomalies in the theory. Plus, 1 person + 1 person = 2 people = equality.

Also, the two one's next to each other is 11. The two men had to find the same number (496) on both sides of the equation in order for the anomalies to be worked out, so the equation had to have equality! There were two matching sides to the equation as well because they ultimately got 496 on both sides. So, the 1 + 1 = 2 = equality applies for the equation as well.

Here is something more than the paranormal or numerology - something very fundamental about the scientific and mathematical nature of the universe, involving unary arithmetic.

(a): 11=3, in binary arithmetic. 3 is the cornerstone of the trinity and also Hinduism.

(b): 1 male + 1 female are needed to produce 1 child. Ergo, 1 + 1 = 3, in reproduction.

(c): The building block of all existence since the "the Big Bang" is Hydrogen, which through nuclear fusion has produced all the other atoms known to humankind.  Hydrogen is another 11, in binary. Another 3: 1 electron; 1 proton and 1 neutron.

(d): The Yin and the Yang are also 11 - two ones of opposite kind, reflecting the duality of the universe in eastern religions and modern computer technology.

(e): Following year 1BC is the year 1AD - another 11, since our modern calendar has no year 0, which is why the 21st century officially began on Jan 1st, 2001.

(f): And finally there is the oddity of the number 10, which historically grew out of counting on our fingers. The oddity is that 10 = 1010 in binary arithmetic - 10:10.

However, if you count the fingers on your hands in unary arithmetic - no zeros - then 10 fingers, in unary mathematics, = 11111111111 - exactly eleven 1's.

History has uncovered many anomalies and perhaps a significant prophetic sign regarding September 11.

The most startling discovery was a book written in 1981, 20 years prior to the 2001 attacks, called "The Birth of Christ Recalculated." The author, Dr. Ernest L. Martin, claims to have calculated the exact date of Jesus Christ's birth based on the celestial charts for that era.

The date of Christ's birth, based on the famous Star of Bethlehem, is calculated to be September 11, 3 B.C.. Dr. Martin's findings have been accepted by many scholars, theologians, historians, and astronomers. We also note that Jesus Christ has 11 letters. The crosses found standing in the ruins of the WTC, and the dominance of the number 11 in the 9-11 events, make this combination even more mysterious.

Here is another significant religious event occurring about 2000 years later on September 11, 1999.

According to Hebrew Scriptures September 11, 1999 was the 6,000th anniversary of Adam's creation, and year 1 on the Hebrew calendar.

What about binary coding?  We all know the majority of computers use this code.

Think of an on/off switch where 0 = off and 1 = on.  These codes are linked together just as letters and then words are put together to make a sentence.  In turn this is speeded up within your computer. It has become an electronic language - a form of communication that can cross many barriers such as language itself. Not only that but it can be applied to so many things some of which have yet to be discovered or thought of. Its not a new concept.  I think it began with a piece of string and a knot and then a piece of string and several knots, thousands of years ago.  Throughout man's history it has evolved and developed, for example, the Abacus, a more sophisticated and effectively simple 'computer'.  Everyone and everything in the world today is based on and affected by this electronic language. In the realms of 11:11 perhaps it can be seen as the communication between two people (and or their computer) for what is the human brain but a computer in the 'on' position.  Through communication we learn to appreciate and respect one another's values, customs and beliefs - that has to be a good thing - and all this from a knot and a piece of string thousands of years ago!

The 11:11 enigma has been here for a while now and has affected the lives of countless thousands of people. Is it really a phenomenon, or is it our internal body clocks playing tricks on us?  For many people seeing the 11s in such abundance makes them certain that this goes far beyond the realms of coincidence.  If this is a message, then four ones would be the most noticeable of all numbers to have appear on a digital clock.

The major question is what can be gleaned from this 'message'.

Historically, Pythagoreans  means much more that the familiar theorem about right triangles. The philosophy of Pythagoreans  and his school has impacted the very fiber of mathematics and physics, even the western tradition of liberal education no matter what the discipline.

In Pythagorean, a cycle is based on 9. 9=End. 9/11= end of the DNA biogen(et)ic program running at the moment.

"Creation starts with the 'divine pure unity', number one, then develops to the 'holy four', and the first four digits beget ten, the sacred number, from which everything else springs" - Colin Wilson, Author of The Occult (p251)

One and one is also the beginning of the Fibonacci curve, a universal pattern of nature found in everything from conch shells to galaxy spirals.

If you multiply 1111 by 1111 you get 1234321, representing a pyramid, and number 11 is a sacred number of the pyramid with the proportions of the great pyramid being of the ratio 7:11. Eleven is also a number harmonious with Pi. Therefore, it seems that number eleven is of central importance in understanding the mathematical infrastructure of the universe. This appearance of an abundance of 11:11 sightings on clocks seems to be is about thinking out of your box and letting your mind stretch outside it's comfort zone.11:11 does not allow you to forget about the larger questions because it is always popping back into your reality, acting as catalyst to distract our consciousness away from the sublime and on to something far more challenging.

I have taken it to mean the need to find balance in life and avoid becoming too ensconced in the superficiality of our corporate/consumer society. 

11:11 seems to be the choice before humankind.  Either realize that 1 American is essentially the same as 1 Jew, 1 Christian or 1 Buddhist, so we can either live side by side in harmony, or we can concentrate on the small differences between us and use it as an excuse for conflict.

Uri Geller became well known for a few scientifically unexplained phenomena such as Telepath (Extrasensory perception - the ability to receive someone's thought pattern and transmit images in a similar manner.)  Dowsing - Finding the location of precious minerals, by using what I believe to be my powers. Bending, breaking and softening metal and other solids with the power of the mind, e.g. spoons, keys etc, more rarely plastic and glass. Fixing broken watches and appliances, and using collective power, influencing the Big Ben to stop. Moving compasses with the power of thought  Erasing computer tapes and disks. Sprouting, causing tiny seeds (mainly red radish) to grow a few centimetres in seconds.

Uri believes that the endless reoccurrence of these hours 11:11, 11:01, 11:10, 10:01, 10:11, 10:10, 1:01, 1:11 represents a positive connection and a gateway to the mysteries of the universe and beyond.

What does the 11:11 signify?

11:11 is a pre-encoded trigger placed into our cellular memory banks prior to our descent into matter which, when activated, signifies that our time of completion is near. This refers to the completion of duality.

When the 11:11 appears to you, it is your wake-up call.  A direct channel opens up between you and the Invisible. When this happens, it is time to reflect on whatever you are doing for a moment and Look Larger. A transfer is in position. You can enter the Greater Reality if you wish pray or meditate and seed your future and also, you can be seeded by the Invisible. You can ask for help in some specific area of your life or simply listen quietly and receive a revelation.

The appearance of 11:11 is an always beneficial act of Divine Intervention telling you that it is time to take a good look around you and see what is really happening. It’s time to pierce the veils of illusion that keep us bound to an unreal world. You have been chosen, because you are ready, to step into the Greater Reality. To lead the way for others into a new way of living, into a Greater Love.

An Opening Door

This can presently be perceived as a crack between two worlds.  It is like a bridge which has the inherent potential of linking together two very different spirals of energy. As we unite together as One, bringing together our fragments of the key, we not only create the key, but we make visible the Doorway.  Thus this bridge functions as an invisible door or a doorway into the Invisible realm.

The 11:11 is the bridge to an entirely different spiral of evolution.  The symbol of 11:11 was pre-encoded into our cellular memory banks long ago.  Returning our cycle of incarnations upon the Earth. The 11.11 has rested dormantly within us since that faraway position under time-release mechanization, combined with sealed orders which would only open when the 11.11 was fully activated.

Physical reality is a consciousness program created by digital codes. Numbers, numeric codes, define our existence. Human DNA, our genetic memory, is encoded to be triggered by digital codes at specific times and frequencies. Those codes awaken the mind to the change and evolution of consciousness.

11:11 is one of those codes, meaning activation of DNA. It has been gently sleeping, awaiting the moment of triggering.

The year 2011 will have great significance and consciousness will evolve in full swing. January 1, 2011 we find - 1/1/11 which could be seen as 1111 and November 11 - 11/11/11. This promises to accelerate consciousness toward 2012 with links to the Mayan Calendar end time at 11:11 UT, Universal Time. (December 12, 2012). [source]

Numerology

11 represents impractical idealism, visionary, refinement of ideals, intuition, revelation, artistic and inventive genius, avant-garde, androgynous, film, fame, refinement and fullfillment. 

Eleven is a higher octave of the number two and it is known to carry psychic vibrations and has an equal balance of masculine and feminine properties.

11:11 or derivatives of these numbers, 111 and 11, are digits that repeat in time thus a metaphor for reality as patterns that repeat in time for us to experience. This can refer to the rise and fall of civilizations, our personal experiences and lessons, loops in time.

They are cycles of time that create and recreate following the blueprint.  11 represents spiraling twin strands of human DNA moving into higher frequency of consciousness. 
11 represents balance.

Some souls see a Golden Age emerging, as told by the ancient prophets. Gold refers to Alchemy, and the alchemical changes that are taking place in our bodies in the evolution of consciousness.

Reality is a geometric design based on numbers (universal language) that repeat in cycles to create the linear time experiment.

We all have one or more numeric codes that follow the blueprint of Sacred Geometry.  It is about the spirals of consciousness, Fibonacci Numbers, the Golden Spiral, also found in perfection, in the exact proportions in the Great Pyramid.

Most digital codes that evoke memory are double digits or countdowns such as 1, 2, 3, 4 ,5 or 5, 4, 3, 2, 1, 0, which goes to Zero Point Merge.

Be prepared because once you have experienced this, a sudden awakening will occur inside you, after which reality will NEVER be the same again.  You will start to notice a great clarity in your reality, and you'll soon begin the healing of your psyche.  I've learned not to expect others in your life to be on this journey with you.

You will have to seek new friends of like mind who are also being triggered by the digits. Once you open the Digital Door, there is no going back. Zero Point Energy

In a quantum mechanical system such as the particle in a box or the quantum harmonic oscillator, the lowest possible energy is called the zero-point energy. According to classical physics, the kinetic energy of a particle in a box or the kinetic energy of the harmonic oscillator may be zero if the velocity is zero. Quantum mechanics with its uncertainty principle implies that if the velocity is measured with certainty to be exactly zero, the uncertainty of the position must be infinite. This either violates the condition that the particle remain in the box, or it brings a new potential energy in the case of the harmonic oscillator. To avoid this paradox, quantum mechanics dictates that the minimal velocity is never equal to zero, and hence the minimal energy is never equal to zero.

Does electromagnetic zero-point energy exist, and if so, are there any practical applications and does it have any connection with dark energy? The theoretical basis for electromagnetic zero-point energy is clear.

"Even in its ground state, a quantum system possesses fluctuations and an associated zero-point energy, since otherwise the uncertainty principle would be violated. In particular the vacuum state of a quantum field has these properties. For example, the electric and magnetic fields in the electromagnetic vacuum are fluctuating quantities." -Dennis William Sciama

The Casimir Effect is an example of a one-loop effect in quantum electrodynamics that can be simply explained by the zero-point energy. It is precisely localizable differences in the zero-point energy that may prove to be of some practical use and that may be the basis of dark energy phenomena. Moreover it has also been found that asymmetries in the zero-point field that appear upon acceleration may be associated with certain properties of inertia, gravitation and the principle of equivalence Haisch, Rueda and Puthoff (1994); Rueda and Haisch (1998); Rueda and Haisch (2005) [source]

In quantum field theory the Casimir effect and the Casimir-Polder force are physical forces arising from a quantized field.  The typical example is of two uncharged metallic plates in a vacuum, placed a few micrometers apart, without any external electromagnetic field. In a classical description, the lack of an external field also means that there is no field between the plates, and no force would be measured between them. When this field is instead studied using quantum electrodynamics, it is seen that the plates do affect the virtual photons which constitute the field, and generate a net force—either an attraction or a repulsion depending on the specific arrangement of the two plates. Although the Casimir effect can be expressed in terms of virtual particles interacting with the objects, it is best described and more easily calculated in terms of the zero-point energy of a quantized field in the intervening space between the objects. This force has been measured, and is a striking example of an effect purely due to second quantization.

However, the treatment of boundary conditions in these calculations has led to some controversy. In fact "Casimir's original goal was to compute the van der Waals force between polarizable molecules" of the metallic plates. Thus it can be interpreted without any reference to the zero-point energy (vacuum energy) or virtual particles of quantum fields.

Dutch physicists Hendrik B. G. Casimir proposed the existence of the force and formulated an experiment to detect it in 1948 while participating in research at Philips Research Labs.

The classic form of the experiment, described above, successfully demonstrated the force to within 15% of the value predicted by the theory. In modern theoretical physics , the Casimir effect plays an important role. [source]

Properties
Lastly, insights may be offered on certain quantum properties (Compton wavelength, de Broglie wavelength, spin) and on mass-energy equivalence (E=mc2) if it proves to be the case that zero-point fluctuations interact with matter in a phenomenon identified by Erwin Schrödinger known as zitterbewegung .

As intriguing as these latter possibilities are, the first order of business is to unambiguously detect and measure zero-point energy. While a Casimir experiment such as that of Forward (1984) can in principle measure energy that may be attributed to the existence of real zero-point energy, there are alternative explanations involving source-source quantum interactions in place of real zero-point energy (see Milonni 1994). To move beyond this ambiguity of interpretation experiments that will test for the reality of measurable zero-point energy will need to be devised.

Cultural References

In the Justice League Episode, 'Hereafter', Vandal Savage had taken over the world and invented a Zero Point Generator in the boredom of immortality which was used to power a time machine to transport Superman back to the present.

In the movie 'The Incredibles', the villain Syndrome uses a ray that can immobilize an opponent, suspending him in mid-air.

"In searching for a name for the device I came across and used a reference to "zero-point energy", which Syndrome himself uses to describe his weapon." -Director Brad Bird, speaking in a DVD commentary

In the computer game Half-Life 2, one of the weapons used by the player is the "Zero Point Energy Field Manipulator", better known by its nickname the "Gravity Gun". It allows the user to pick up and launch any medium-sized objects, and was used to market the game's detailed physics engine.

The television show Stargate SG-1 and the spinoff, Stargate Atlantis also makes references to zero-point energy in the form of Zero Point Modules or ZPMs. These ZPMs extract energy from small artificially-created subspaces are used to power the technology of the Ancients, such as the energy shield which protects the city of Atlantis and powering the Stargate with sufficient power to allow travel to the Pegasus Galaxy.

The Ancients also attempted to extract zero-point energy directly from their own universe in Project Arcturus.

The first ZPM is found by Jack O'Neill in the SG-1 season 7 finale "Lost City" at an abandoned outpost, and used to power Ancient weaponry left behind on Earth to repel Anubis' attack on Earth. The same ZPM allows Stargate Command to open a wormhole to Atlantis in the Pegasus Galaxy.  Another is found on Earth in an alternate timeline and allows Earth to send supplies and reinforcements to Atlantis. The finding and recapturing of ZPMs is a recurring theme on Stargate Atlantis, being a necessary asset to protect the city from attacks and invasion, to power the city (e.g., for space travel) and to accelerate Earth ships in-between galaxies.

In Marvel Comic's "Ultimate Secret" issue one, the disguised Captain Mahr-vell has helped humans develop a star drive based on ZPE. He offhandedly remarks that quantum wave fluctuations were discovered to cause inertia, which is the SED Hypothesis .

In the second season of the television series 'Alias', Sydney Bristow is tasked to retrieve a music box that supposedly contains a formula for zero-point energy.

In  the book, '3001: The Final Odyssey,' by Arthur C. Clarke humanity is tapping zero point energy (or vacuum energy as it's called in the book). Human astronomers observed an explosion of a far-away star, and on further investigation found that the detonation started at one of the planets which destabilized the star itself. This event gives the characters nightmares, as it was assumed that some alien race was using zero-point energy and lost control. [source] 

The book begins with a brief prologue describing the aliens who created the Monoliths. They apparently evolved from "warm slime", and over the course of millions of years, turned into a space faring species. As they explored the galaxy, they saw that few intelligent species ever successfully evolved. Therefore, they traveled the universe and catalyzed the evolution of intelligent species wherever they went, including Earth, by increasing the evolving species' odds of survival. Upon reaching Earth, they performed experiments on many species to encourage the development of intelligence. Then they left, leaving the monoliths behind. After visiting Earth, the aliens continued to evolve, to the point where they eventually found a way to integrate themselves into the fabric of space, and became non-corporeal beings. Meanwhile, back in the Solar system, the Monoliths continued to watch over humanity. However, the Monoliths were capable of degenerating and acting independently of their original programming.

ZPE is also a potential energy source of interest to independent researchers outside of mainstream research entities, such as the late Eugene Mallove, and figures into discussions on radio programs such as Coast to Coast AM.

Mallove authored Fire from Ice, a book detailing the 1989 report of table-top cold fusion from Stanley Pons and Martin Fleischmann at the University of Utah. Among other things, the book claims the team did produce "greater-than-unity" output energy in an experiment successfully replicated on several occasions, but that the results were suppressed through an organized campaign of ridicule from mainstream physicists, including those studying controlled thermonuclear fusion, trying to protect their research and funding.

Dr. Eugene Mallove, the tireless spokesperson for integrity and honesty in cold fusion research, whose persistent efforts finally persuaded the U.S. Department of Energy to give the phenomenon a second look after 15 years of denial and stonewalling, was killed in Norwich, CT on 14 May 2004. Here's Looking at You

The Earth-orbiting Hubble Space Telescope sparked a revolution in astronomy when it opened its “eye” on the universe 20 years ago. The telescope’s “hall-of-fame” images and spectacular discoveries of black holes, far-flung galaxies, and gas shrouds around dying, Sun-like stars have forever changed our view of the cosmos.

NASA's best-recognized, longest-lived, and most prolific space observatory zooms past a threshold of 20 years of operation this month. On April 24, 1990, the space shuttle and crew of STS-31 were launched to deploy the Hubble Space Telescope into a low Earth orbit. What followed was one of the most remarkable sagas of the space age. Hubble's unprecedented capabilities made it one of the most powerful science instruments ever conceived by humans, and certainly the one most embraced by the public. Hubble discoveries revolutionized nearly all areas of current astronomical research, from planetary science to cosmology. And, its pictures were unmistakably out of this world.

At times Hubble's starry odyssey played out like a space soap opera, with broken equipment, a bleary-eyed primary mirror, and even a space shuttle rescue/repair mission cancellation. But the ingenuity and dedication of Hubble scientists, engineers, and NASA astronauts have allowed the observatory to rebound time and time again. Its crisp vision continues to challenge scientists with exciting new surprises and to enthrall the public with ever more evocative color images.

NASA, the European Space Agency (ESA), and the Space Telescope Science Institute (STScI) are celebrating Hubble's journey of exploration with a stunning new picture, online educational activities, an opportunity for people to explore galaxies as armchair scientists, and an opportunity for astronomy enthusiasts to send in their own personal greetings to Hubble for posterity.

NASA is releasing today a brand new Hubble photo of a small portion of one of the largest seen star-birth regions in the galaxy, the Carina Nebula. Towers of cool hydrogen laced with dust rise from the wall of the nebula. The scene is reminiscent of Hubble's classic "Pillars of Creation" photo from 1995, but is even more striking in appearance. The image captures the top of a three-light-year-tall pillar of gas and dust that is being eaten away by the brilliant light from nearby bright stars. The pillar is also being pushed apart from within, as infant stars buried inside it fire off jets of gas that can be seen streaming from towering peaks like arrows sailing through the air.

To date, Hubble has looked at over 30,000 celestial objects and amassed over one-half million pictures in its archive. The last heroic astronaut servicing mission to Hubble in May 2009 made it 100 times more powerful than when it was launched. In addition to its irreplaceable scientific importance, Hubble brings cosmic wonders into millions of homes and schools every day.

For the past 20 years the public has become co-explorers with this wondrous observatory.

Sacred Geometry

The "Flower of Life" (left) can be found in all major religions of the world. It contains the patterns of creation as they emerged from the "Great Void."  After the creation of the "Seed of Life" (right) the same vortex's motion was continued, creating the next structure known as the Egg of Life.

This structure forms the basis for music, as the distances between the spheres is identical to the distances between the tones and the half tones in music. It is also identical to the cellular structure of the third embryonic division (The first cell divides into two cells, then to four cells then to eight).

Thus this same structure as it is further developed, creates the human body and all of the energy systems including the ones used to create the Merkaba. If we continue creating more and more spheres we will end up with the structure called the "Flower of Life."

The flower of life holds a secret symbol created by drawing 13 circles out of the "Egg of Life".

By doing this, one can discover the most important and sacred pattern in the universe. This is the source of all that exists; it's called the Fruit of Life. It contains 13 informational systems. Each one explains another aspect of reality. Thus these systems are able to give us access to everything ranging from the human body to the galaxies. In the first system, for example, it's possible to create any molecular structure and any living cellular structure that exists in the universe. In short every living creature.

The most common form of the "Flower of Life" is hexagonal pattern (where the center of each circle is on the circumference of six surrounding circles of the same diameter), made up of 19 complete circles and 36 partial circular arcs, enclosed by a large circle.

The "Seed of Life" is formed from seven circles being placed with sixfold symmetry, forming a pattern of circles and lenses, which acts as a basic component of the Flower of Life's design.

The Temple of Osiris at Abydos, Egypt contains the oldest to date example. it is carved in granite and may possibly represent the Eye of Ra a symbol of the authority of the pharaoh.

Other examples can be found in Phoenician, Assyrian, Indian, Asian, Middle Eastern, and medieval art.

Leonardo da Vinci has studied the Flower of Life's form and its mathematical properties. He has drawn the Flower of Life itself, as well as components therein, such as the Seed of Life. He has drawn geometric figures representing shapes such as the platonic solids, a sphere, a torus, etc., and has also used the golden ratio of phi in his artwork; all of which may be derived from the Flower of Life design.

On the piles of the ceiling were lots of carvings with additional Seeds Of Life and different symbols that looked like if they had sacred geometry in them. The most numerous symbol was the core of the Seed Of Life: The simple six-leafed flower. It can be found in nearly every traditional home in Austria. It is very often carved in old wood furniture. It is amazing that this was common knowledge using these symbols showing the initial creation.

The ancient flower of life is an inter-dimensional tool, a portal, a stargate, a window into what some call the inter space plains.

The original flower of life (found on several pillars within "the Osireion" at Abydos in Egypt) is incomplete, because it is only the first layer of three.

The Flower of Life can be found in all major religions of the world. In Egypt, the source of all the monotheistic religions, the "Flower of Life", can be found in the ancient Temple of Abydos. In Israel, it can be found in ancient synagogues in the Galilee and in Mesada.

The complete flower has the other two layers added, making it three dimensional.  If you relax (sit three feet away from the screen) and let the flower slowly draw your eyes out of focus, the flower will open.  Try and not focus on any one point, blankly stare, take the flower in as a whole. You may get a headache and itchy eyes, this will quickly disappear.

Understanding that we do not see with our eyes, it's our visual cortex that sees.

The flower of life shape contains a secret shape known as the fruit of life that consists of 13 spheres that hold many mathematical and geometrical laws. These laws represent the whole universe and is considered one of the strongest sacred geometric shapes.

There are some who have gone out on a limb to suggest that most ancient alphabets originate from the complete Flower of Life.

Most importantly, and more interesting is that if you overlay a map with the complete flower of life, all sacred sites, standing stones etc, will sit at the centre of six points. This picture below gives you idea how the grid looks. 

The Tree of Life is one of the most familiar of the Sacred Geometry Symbols. The structure of the Tree of Life is connected to the sacred teachings of the Jewish Kabbalah but can be seen in other traditions such as the ancient Egyptian and is used as a sign of unity and love.
